There is provided an a wear strip assembly for use in a waste water treatment facility comprising an anchor plate secured to the bottom of a tank and a wear strip disposed around the anchor plate having a c-shaped cross section. The wear strip may be slid onto the anchor plate. There is also provided a waste water treatment system employing the wear strip assembly. There is further provided a stop plate for use in the wear strip assembly.

There is provided an a wear strip assembly for use in a waste water treatment facility comprising an anchor plate secured to the bottom of a tank and a wear strip disposed around the anchor plate having a c-shaped cross section. The wear strip may be slid onto the anchor plate. There is also provided a waste water treatment system employing the wear strip assembly.

A travel monitor for a rectangular sludge conveyor having a plurality of scrapers attached to and driven by a pair of chains, each of which is formed in a closed loop having an upper run. A pair of detector sprockets independently engage and are driven by the upper runs. Switches positioned adjacent the sprockets create a series of pulses in response to their rotation. The phase difference between the series of pulses resulting from rotation of the sprockets is detected, and a misalignment alarm is activated when the phase difference exceeds a predetermined amount.

Apparatus for protecting from water damage the electric motor which drives the cog rake bar screen of a waste water treatment plant. A shell of air impermeable material surrounds the motor and has an opening at the shell bottom to drain water. Various arrangements and devices prevent water or debris from entering the opening.

Cog rake bar screen

A sludge removal mechanism including concentrating members for concentrating the settled sludge in localized areas on the bottom of the tank with conduits leading from the localized areas to a collection zone. A flow control device is associated with each conduit in the collection zone and a plurality of flow control devices are simultaneously moved by a drive mechanism so that the range of flow from a plurality of localized areas in a tank are changed simultaneously.

Control device for dual flow clarifiers

A raking structure for moving settled solids to a discharge opening in the bottom of a sedimentation tank is disclosed herein. The raking structure consists of a rotatable member and a rake arm pivoted on the rotatable member along an inclined pivot axis with a counterweight connected to the rake arm through cable means so that the torque load required to cause the arm to pivot can be varied. The rake arm may also have means for varying the buoyancy of the rake arm and thereby vary the torque or moment compound required to pivot the rake arm with respect to the rotatable member.
