This is a new invention, which is safer, simpler to use, less invasive into a user's daily routine and provides a lower cost solution to existing pulsed magnetic field and related vibrational electromagnetic therapy devices to improve sleep, encourage natural healing and reduce pain. This is accomplished through Multiple Simultaneous Extremely Low Frequency (MSELF) energy waves. The MSELF energy waves are derived from a quartz crystal with a fundamental frequency less than one-half of one percent from a natural Fibonacci Number. The apparatus utilizes firmware operating in a microcontroller emulating Circadian Rhythms. The microcontroller is also clocked by the Fibonacci Number Quartz Crystal. Additionally, the apparatus's unique application of an H-Bridge configuration power-driver with Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) capabilities supports a novel approach to supply two simultaneous therapeutic frequencies.

In a system including a plurality of telephones coupled to an asymmetric digital subscriber line, a circuit operable to facilitate communication using the asymmetric digital subscriber line includes a filter having a corner frequency and being operable to be coupled between one of the plurality of telephones and the asymmetric digital subscriber line. The filter is also operable to attenuate transients associated with the telephone operating in an off-hook state. The circuit also includes a switch coupled to the filter. The switch is operable to effect a change in the corner frequency of the associated filter depending on whether the telephone coupled to the filter is operating in an on-hook or an off-hook state, the change in the corner frequency operating to attenuate parasitic interference associated with telephones in an on-hook state.

System and method for selective filter isolation

A system and method having automatic selection of impedance values for matching against unknown line impedances. The method stores an expected set of desired return loss measurements at given frequencies and matches the calculated set against the actual measured return losses to arrive at a close approximation of the line impedance. The system is then adjusted based upon this determined close approximation. The starting point for the stored set are standard models established for each network. In situations where the actual varies greatly from the predicted, a different model is selected and the expected scores for that model are used.
