Methods, devices, systems and apparatus of fully knock-down drum fans that can be shipped completely unassembled so that the smallest packaging results in more units per container and lower shipping costs Drum fan design utilizes modular components that can be assembled quickly and easily by the distributor or the end user. Drum fan can include identical shroud curved members, with same number of pie shaped front grill members, and same number of pie shaped rear grill members, and other modular components that are easy to nest, pack, store and ship with one another. The knock-down fan is easy to re-assemble, and can be applied to any size drum fan from approximately 24&#x2033;, 36&#x2033;, and 42&#x2033; to approximately 60&#x2033; in diameter.

Fully knock-down drum fan

Easy to attach and detach blades for overhead ceiling fans. A first version has a ceiling fan blade with keyhole slots that fit over flat topped fasteners on a mounting arm. Pulling the blade away from the arm locks the slots to the fasteners. A second version is similar to the first and has a decorative bottom cover having snappable tapered protrusions which attach through the keyholes and into mateable through-holes in the mounting arm connection. The third version has a protruding end portion of the blade that fits into a slot in the mounting arm where spring loaded pistons press into grooves in the protrusion end portion of the blade. Latching handles allow users to manually move the pistons. A fourth version has a slot in the blade which fits about a mateable housing in the mounting arm where opposing spring loaded pistons press into interior wall grooves in the slot of the blade. A fifth version has the blade with slots fit over the end of the mounting arm so that pulling the blade from the mounting arm causes spring loaded piston to interlock into a interior wall groove in the slot of the blade.

Quick assembly blades for ceiling fans

Quick attachable and detachable mounting arms for ceiling fans. A first version has flat headed fasteners initially attached to one end of mounting arms, with key-hole slots in the endshield of the ceiling fan motor. The user raises the mounting arm so that the flat headed fasteners fits through the larger openings in the keyhole slots and then pulls the mounting arm outward until the arm locks in place by the smaller opening portions of the keyhole slots. Rubber type gaskets and washers help lock and hold the mounting arms in place. The flat headed fasteners can also be located on the endshields with the keyhole slots on mounting arms. A second embodiment includes inwardly deformable springably snapable fasteners that can be located on the ends of the mounting arms which can deform inwardly and expand after passing through slots on the endshield of the rotor. Alternatively, the fasteners can be located on the bottom of the endshield with the receiving slots on the ends of the mounting arms. The different versions can include guide posts for allowing only one single fastener to be needed. A third embodiment allows the inwardly bendable snapable fasteners to be removable with screws.

This is achieved through a drum fan design that utilizes completely modular components that can be assembled quickly and easily either by the distributor of the drum fan or the final end user. A drum fan can include a plural identical shroud curved members, with the same number of pie shaped front grill members, and the same number of pie shaped rear grill members, as well as other modular components that are both easy to nest, pack, store and ship with one another. The knock-down fan will significantly reduce packaging size from approximately 50 to approximately 75% less than current drum fans. The knock-down fan is easy to re-assemble, because of modular components, and the knock-down fan size can be applied to any size drum fan from approximately 24&#x2033;, 36&#x2033;, and 42&#x2033; up to approximately 60&#x2033; in diameter.

Snappable wheel holders for environmental control units such as radiators, heaters, fans and air conditioners. Wheel holders can attach wheels to brackets located underneath the units by mateably attaching male protruding ends into female slots. Plastic triangular pieces can snap into openings to lock the wheel holders to the brackets. The brackets can be attached underneath the units by clamping U-bars with wing nuts.

An air-exhausting apparatus, device, method of assembly and use for an attic and rooftop fan, which prevents water intrusion into the housing. The fan can include a tubular base having a bottom side mounted on a roof of a room, and an upper end portion converging toward a top side of the base. A coupling sleeve unit has a first coupling end portion sleeved fixedly on the base and cooperating with the base to define an annular draining passage therebetween, and a second coupling end portion opposite to the first coupling end portion. A fan unit is mounted in the coupling sleeve unit, and is operable so as to exhaust air outwardly of the room via air holes in the second coupling end portion of the coupling sleeve unit. A cover unit includes a cover body disposed on the second coupling end portion of the coupling sleeve unit, and a supporting frame interconnecting fixedly the cover body and the coupling sleeve unit. Wear and/or sound absorbers can also be included.

Outdoor high velocity wall and pedestal mounted fans, devices, apparatus, systems and methods of operation. The fans can have water resistant motor housings with at most one rear wall located opening for allowing a power cord to pass therethrough. The switches and pull chains are connected to the fan only through the bottom of the motor housing. The bottom of the motor housing can have a drainage hole for allowing excess moisture to drain therefrom. The motor housing can be stainless steel. Additionally, the motor housing can have a powder coat finish on all parts to reduce corrosion. The motor can be an oversized inverted outdoor rated oscillating motor having improved gear mechanisms for big torques and reduces heat rise during fan operation. The fan can operate under hot and cold temperature extremes as well as during wet and dry environmental conditions.
