A method and apparatus for screen printing facilitate the application of colors, patterns, and other indicia onto a curved printing substrate, such as a concave glass surface of an appliance. The apparatus includes a print head assembly that is typically supported by a frame and is movable relative to the frame and the printing substrate. The print head assembly includes biasing elements with movable end portions that support a wiper and apply varying levels of pressure to the wiper as it is moved along the curved surface or surfaces of the substrate during a printing process. The print head assembly and associated screen printing equipment may be automated or computer controlled so as to independently vary the pressure of the biasing elements and, thus, the pressure of different areas of the wiper along the substrate, to accommodate simple or complex curves in the substrate surface.

Apparatus and method for printing on curved surfaces

A computer mount is provided for securing a hand-held computer to a hand-held electronic scanner, such as a bar code or QR code scanner, or an RFID chip scanner. The computer mount includes an upper mount portion with a computer chamber for receiving and providing user access to the hand-held computer, and further includes a lower attachment portion for securing to the hand-held scanner. At least two upstanding sidewalls form the mount portion, optionally with a base wall extending therebetween, the sidewalls configured to engage in secure the hand-held computer. The attachment portion has at least two downwardly-extending sidewalls defining a scanner chamber at the lower attachment portion, the scanner chamber configured to receive a head of the hand-held scanner, while permitting normal functioning of the scanner.

A panel for appliances includes an inner shell and an outer shell that engage one another to define a hollow interior region. An interior divider or intermediate close-out is disposed between the inner and outer shells, and has at least an outwardly-extending portion that extends into the hollow interior region. A foam core is bonded to interior surfaces of the shells and to the divider or close-out. The foam core may be formed or established by injecting an uncured or partially-cured liquid into the hollow interior region. Optionally, the panel is a movable door attached to an appliance, and may include a window portion in a central region thereof.

A modular casket made of lightweight materials is structurally reinforced using a structural sealant along at least the inner surfaces of the side panels, and optionally along at least side edge portions of a base panel to which the side panels are coupled, to stiffen and rigidize the casket against flexion along longitudinal and lateral axes, as well as torsional flexion. The structurally reinforced casket is sealed or more readily sealed against leakage and provides other benefits of structural stiffness and rigidity with relatively small cost and weight penalties.

A pin latch assembly for releasably securing a casket lid in a closed position includes a latch housing and inner latch member disposed along a side wall of the casket, and a pin member projecting from the casket lid. The latch housing and inner latch member each include a respective bore or through-hole for receiving the pin member when the lid is closed. The inner latch member is movable within the latch housing between a pin-engaging position and a pin-disengaging position.
