An exercise chair for an exercise system. The exercise system is of a type that utilizes an exercise resistance cable apparatus of a type that includes an exercise resistance cable having a first end being connectable to an exercise chair, and; a handgrip connected to a second end of the exercise resistance cable. The exercise chair includes: a) a chair frame; b) a first force directing means securely attached to the chair frame at a first selected location at approximately shoulder height level at the left side of the chair frame; c) a second force directing means securely attached to the chair frame at a second selected location at approximately shoulder height level at the right side of the chair frame; d) a third force directing means securely attached to the chair frame at a third selected location at approximately ankle height level at the right side of the chair frame; e) a fourth force directing means securely attached to the chair frame at a fourth selected location at approximately ankle height level at the left side of the chair frame; and, f) means for connecting the first end of a resistance cable to a selected position on the chair frame. The first, second, third and fourth force directing means provide a redirection of force applied by a user at the shoulder and ankle height levels for a selectable exercise using resistance cables.

Exercise system using exercise resistance cables

The shoulder stretcher assembly detachably connects to a chair frame of a chair. It includes an elongated support assembly that includes a substantially vertical portion securely supportable adjacent to a rear portion of a chair frame of a chair. An upper portion of the elongated support assembly projects forwardly from the substantially vertical portion so as to extend over the chair. The upper portion includes a pulley assembly attaching element for attaching a pulley assembly for supporting a cable assembly.

Shoulder stretcher assembly

A seated row exercise system including an exercise cycle assembly that detachably connects to a chair frame of a chair; and, an elongated support assembly. The exercise cycle assembly includes a main frame having a first end portion detachably connectable to a frame element of a chair frame, the main frame including a plurality of support legs for supporting the exercise cycle assembly relative to the floor; and, a pedal assembly securely connected to the main frame. The elongated support assembly includes a substantially vertical support member secured to the main frame; and, a pulley housing assembly attached to the vertical support member for supporting a cable assembly.

Seated row exercise system

An exercise cycle assembly that detachably connects to a chair frame. The exercise cycle assembly includes a main frame having a first end portion detachably connectable to a frame element of a chair frame. The main frame includes support legs for supporting the exercise cycle assembly relative to the floor; and, a pedal assembly securely connected to the main frame. The first end portion preferably includes an elongated connecting member having a generally unshaped cross-section for engagement with the frame element of the chair. Generally, it connects to a horizontal crossbar of the chair.

Exercise cycle assembly

An exercise resistance cable apparatus for engagement with an activity bay of a support structure. The exercise resistance cable apparatus includes a plurality of serially connected cable/anchor modules. A first of the cable/anchor modules includes a first elastic exercise resistance cable; and, a first cable expansion anchor securely connected to a first end of the elastic exercise resistance cable. Subsequent cable/anchor modules include associated exercise resistance cables and cable expansion anchors. A hand grip is connected to a second end of the first elastic exercise resistance cable. The exercise resistance cable apparatus is particularly adapted to be used with an exercise chair having a frame with a plurality of activity bays positioned at desired locations thereon. The activity bays have slots formed therein that are disposed at the desired orientations for engagement with a cable expansion anchor of an exercise resistance cable apparatus.

An exercise resistance cable apparatus for engagement with a pulley assembly of a support structure and with a cable locking pin of an anchor assembly of the support structure. The exercise resistance cable apparatus includes an elastic exercise resistance cable. A cable anchor ring is securely connected to a first end of the elastic exercise resistance cable. A handgrip is connected to a second end of the elastic exercise resistance cable. During use the elastic exercise resistance cable is directed through an activity bay of the pulley assembly and ultimately attached, via the cable anchor ring, to the cable locking pin of the anchor assembly of the support structure. The exercise resistance cable apparatus is particularly adapted to be used with an exercise chair having a frame with pulley assemblies defining a plurality of activity bays positioned at desired locations thereon.
