Techniques and couplers for managing coupling between qubits are presented. A first tuneable coupler qubit (TCQ) can comprise a first frequency mode and a second frequency mode. A second TCQ can comprise a third frequency mode and a fourth frequency mode. First TCQ can be selectively coupled to a first qubit based on the first frequency mode and selectively coupled to the second TCQ based on the second and third frequency modes. Second TCQ can be selectively coupled to a second qubit based on the fourth frequency mode. When certain respective magnetic fluxes are applied to first and second TCQs, ZZ interaction between the first and second qubits can be suppressed. When respective modified magnetic fluxes are applied to first and second TCQs to excite respective frequency modes, coupling can occur, and ZZ interaction and an entangled gate can be created between the first and second qubits.

Multi-mode couplers for enhanced connectivity

Devices and/or computer-implemented methods to facilitate a multipole filter on a quantum device with multiplexing capability and signal separation to mitigate crosstalk are provided. According to an embodiment, a device can comprise an interposer substrate comprising a readout resonator. The device can further comprise a qubit chip substrate comprising a qubit coupled to the readout resonator and to a multipole filter.

Systems and techniques that facilitate mode-selective couplers for frequency collision reduction are provided. In various embodiments, a device can comprise a control qubit. In various aspects, the device can comprise a first target qubit coupled to the control qubit by a first mode-selective coupler. In various instances, the first mode-selective coupler can facilitate A-mode coupling between the control qubit and the first target qubit. In various embodiments, the device can comprise a second target qubit coupled to the control qubit by a second mode-selective coupler. In various aspects, the second mode selective coupler can facilitate B-mode coupling between the control qubit and the second target qubit. In various embodiments, the first mode-selective coupler can comprise a capacitor that capacitively couples a middle capacitor pad of the control qubit to a middle capacitor pad of the first target qubit. In various embodiments, the second mode-selective coupler can comprise a first capacitor that capacitively couples an end capacitor pad of the control qubit to an end capacitor pad of the first target qubit and can comprise a second capacitor that capacitively couples the end capacitor pad of the control qubit to a middle capacitor pad of the second target qubit.

Mode-selective couplers for frequency collision reduction

Devices and/or computer-implemented methods to facilitate ZZ cancellation between qubits are provided. According to an embodiment, a device can comprise a coupler device that operates in a first oscillating mode and a second oscillating mode. The device can further comprise a first superconducting qubit coupled to the coupler device based on a first oscillating mode structure corresponding to the first oscillating mode and based on a second oscillating mode structure corresponding to the second oscillating mode. The device can further comprise a second superconducting qubit coupled to the coupler device based on the first oscillating mode structure and the second oscillating mode structure.

Devices and/or computer-implemented methods facilitating static ZZ suppression and Purcell loss reduction using mode-selective coupling in two junction superconducting qubits are provided. In an embodiment, a device can comprise a superconducting bus resonator. The device can further comprise a first superconducting qubit. The device can further comprise a second superconducting qubit, the first superconducting qubit and the second superconducting qubit respectively comprising: a first superconducting pad; a second superconducting pad; a third superconducting pad; a first Josephson Junction coupled to the first superconducting pad and the second superconducting pad; and a second Josephson Junction coupled to the second superconducting pad and the third superconducting pad. The first superconducting pad and the second superconducting pad of the first superconducting qubit and the second superconducting qubit are coupled to the superconducting bus resonator. The superconducting bus resonator entangles the first superconducting qubit and the second superconducting qubit based on receiving a control signal.

Apparatus and methods for automatic, computer-based image management, including reading, transfer, and storage, and to related software for acquisition, transfer, editing, processing, copying, and archiving of images by the apparatus in accord with the methods. More particularly, the invention comprises image input devices of which specific examples include digital scanners, digital media readers, and a combination of the two, and software that makes possible the complete processing and archiving of digital images with the press of a single button or the act of inserting the media in the device. The inventive processing and archiving image management hardware and software system includes non-camera digital image acquisition, data transfer, display, manipulation (including cropping, adjusting colors, and other such editing), storage, thumbnailing, printing, and electronic transmittal of processed digital image data. In addition to replicating the traditional photographic film development process for digitally acquired images in a software enablement, the inventive image management software adds substantial functional features in the context of user-friendly ease and speed of use.

Bi-directional multi-resolution scanner having software/firmware for 1- to 2-pass high resolution scanning, enabling the scanner to capture and render image data both the standard direction, top to bottom pass, as well as the return direction, that is, bi-directional scanning, in contrast to prior art scanners which return to the start position after each pass without reading (scanning). Typical current B&W scanning of an 8&#xbd;&#xd7;11&#x2033; image at 600 dpi takes a total time from start to reload to the next image of on the order of 42-67 seconds. In contrast, the inventive system scans and displays the high resolution image in about 37 seconds, some 7-30 seconds faster than a conventional scanner. In multiple image scanning, since the time for the two return passes and the preview pass is eliminated, the productivity is increased from 20 to 300% or more. Since multiple non-scan return passes are eliminated, the inventive system is also a substantial improvement for limited power bus devices.

Fast, auto-cropping, bi-directional multi-resolution scanner apparatus, system and software therefor

A method and system are disclosed for providing continuous, interactive communication among devices on an electronic network (). A permanent, dedicated symmetric connection is provided between a server application and a client device (). Both client and server can therefore communicate bi-directionally. Message storage is provided for allowing messages to be stored () while the client is offline or otherwise unavailable. The method and system is operable with any addressable device () on the electronic network. The invention can be used as an alternative to, or in conjunction with, prior art electronic network communication methods. The invention implements an advanced message routing system. A set of base capabilities are built on top of the message routing system. The communication method and system according to the present invention use a graphical user interface to virtually represent the applications that are used to interact with the electronic network. These graphical representations () are used to facilitate the transmission and receipt of messages across the electronic network. Applications according to the present invention are grouped into different levels according to their increasing levels of power and specificity. An interface () is also provided to iconically represent the underlying interactive connections of the communication system. The present invention provides a one-to-one connection for bi-directionally publishing and receiving messages and a one-to-many connection. This interface enables applications to interact and deliver any type of focused functionality.

An earth tillage apparatus has a hydraulically liftable, foldable carriage with sections which extend laterally from a tongue to a wide field working position and are foldable to a narrow transport or storage position. Rigid structural arms are hingedly mounted on the tongue and have free ends extending laterally a substantial distance therefrom. In a preferred embodiment, cables respectively have one end secured to the tongue and the other end secured to the wings and extend through a pulley mounted on each of the arm free ends for the purpose of positioning the point of pull a substantial distance laterally of the tongue thereby reducing the tendency for inwardly buckling the carriage. The arms are locked in their laterally extending position when the wings are in the wide field position and are selectively released to hingedly move to a second or transport position when the wings are folded. The arms and cables are arranged relative to the tongue and carriage to maintain cable tension and prevent dragging thereof.
