The present disclosure describes a method and device for treatment of bone lesions. The device may include a combination of a drill device, a drill guide, a guide wire, and a syringe. The drill device includes a cannula through which a substance may be injected, an attachment head, and a drill bit. The attachment head may include a fitting for a powered or manual drill and a luer fitting for attaching a syringe or other device. The drill guide includes a cannula with an inner diameter sized to accommodate the cannula of the drill device. The method may include: placing a drill guide near a bone-lesion site, inserting a guide wire through the drill guide, inserting a drill device into the drill guide, removing the guide wire, drilling the bone, and injecting a cellular component and a retention medium into the bone near the lesion site.

System and method of treatment of bone lesions

A device comprising a trocar having a first end and comprising a cannulation and at least one fenestration proximal the first end; and a housing comprising a first port configured for the attachment of a first syringe and a second port configured for the attachment of a collection vessel, a first valve configured to selectively permit fluid flow through the cannulation of the trocar to the first port, and a second valve configured to selectively permit fluid flow through the cannulation of the trocar to the second port. The device allows the first syringe to draw up bone marrow in small volumes with high vacuum and then transfer the small draws into the collection vessel. The device may increase the recovery of desired cells residing in the bone marrow to be recovered during a bone marrow aspiration procedure.

The invention is directed to a bone void filler comprising a scaffold or matrix. The scaffold or matrix may include a porous inorganic matrix component and/or a 3D-printed implantable device. An embodiment of the invention is directed to a bone marrow aspiration device comprising a plurality of syringes, each of which operates in a series of sequential steps to obtain bone marrow of high quality and therapeutic value, i.e., having a high mesenchymal stem cell ('MSC') MSC/ml number. In certain embodiments, a syringe may be used along with a collection vessel or with a second syringe. A further embodiment of the invention is directed to a method for using the bone marrow aspiration device as set forth herein.

An interbody fusion device for fusion of vertebrae, and methods thereof. The device includes a first piece made of titanium having upper and lower surfaces configured to engage the endplates of two opposing vertebrae. The upper and lower surfaces include a plurality of barbed teeth configured to engage an endplate. The first piece includes an inner void area configured to receive a second piece. The second piece is configured to engage the first piece to slide over inner surfaces of the first piece become seated and mated in the first piece. The first and second pieces mate to form an assembled interbody fusion device that fits between two vertebrae.

Fusion device and associated methods

A method and apparatus is provided for use in spinal fusion procedures. An interbody fusion device has a first piece that is a load bearing device designed to bear the axial loading from the end plates of adjacent vertebrae. A second piece of the interbody fusion device is a retention device whose function is to prevent migration of the load bearing device. One or more fasteners secure the retention device to the vertebrae above and below the load bearing device. The fasteners cause the end plates of the vertebrae to compress the end plates to the load bearing device to facilitate proper fusion. The device includes a snap in mechanism for coupling the first piece to the second piece.
