A system for heating and cooling buildings using geothermal heat storage includes a heat exchange system coupled to a heat storage medium including rock. The heat exchange system comprises pipes running through boreholes in the rock. The pipes of the heat exchange system are connected to pipes used within the building for heating and cooling the building. The system stores excess heat collected during the summer in the rock and discharges heat from the rock during the winter.

Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a cognition analysis and response system that can A) identify and classify machine learning training data and use the training data to build a cognitive impairment machine learning model; B) identify cognitive impairments by applying the cognitive impairment machine learning model and performing a false positive/false negative analysis; and C) apply various automated adaptive measures for users with identified cognitive impairment. The cognition analysis and response system can generate training data by using an unsupervised training process and verifying results with validations of training items that have been pre-classified. The cognition analysis and response system can then iterate through each set of inputs paired with cognitive impairment classification, applying a machine learning model and updating the model based on a comparison of the model output to the cognitive impairment classification.

A cooling system configured to remove heat from a chimney of a server cabinet. The chimney has an extending portion extending above the server rack including a chimney heat exchanger in the extending portion above the server rack. The chimney heat exchanger has a fluid inlet for receiving a working fluid and a fluid outlet for discharging the working fluid. The chimney heat exchanger also has an upstream surface receiving warm waste heat generated by one or more servers and a downstream surface that discharges cooled air cooled by the chimney heat exchanger. The server rack may be accessed through the chimney without requiring movement of the chimney heat exchanger.

A workstation cooling system includes a radiant panel configured to be disposed in a workstation. The workstation cooling system also includes a water supply conduit configured to provide a cooling water flow to an inlet of the radiant panel and a water return conduit configured to receive the cooling water flow from an outlet of the radiant panel. The controller further receives a second indication from the sensor related to the toilet usage or the humidity level within the room changing after sending the first instruction. controller sends a second instruction to actuate the ventilation device to stop or reduce ventilation of the room based on the second indication.

Systems and methods for sensor-based ventilation

A method is used to detect a location of contaminant entry in a processing fluid production and distribution system. A wafer is placed in a clean container. The clean container is connected to a test point within the processing fluid production and distribution system. Processing fluid from the test point of the processing fluid production and distribution system is allowed to flow through the clean container. The wafer is dried. The wafer is then tested for the existence of contaminants.
