An example method includes receiving a communication verification request comprising a candidate communication from a third-party device and determining one or more candidate communication feature values for one or more communication feature types. The example method further includes querying an authentic communication storage repository for an authentic communication record that comprises one or more authentic communication feature values that correspond to the one or more candidate communication features, wherein the authentic communication storage repository comprises a plurality of authentic communication records. The example method further includes determining a communication classification for the candidate communication based on a query result and providing a communication verification response comprising the communication classification to the third-party device.

Systems and methods for verifying candidate communications

A trusted data management system (TDMS) receives, from a third party system, a request for user data and a user identifier. The TDMS identifies a data sharing schema from a set of data sharing schemas associated with the user identifier. The data sharing schema defines a subset of data values of the user data. The data sharing schema also defines, for each data value of the subset of data values of the subset of the user data, a format for transmitting the data value. The TDMS retrieves, from a data storage unit, the subset of data values of the user data. The TDMS formats each data value of the subset of data values in accordance with the respective defined format of the data value. The TDMS transmits, to the third party system, the subset of user data in accordance with the data sharing schema.

System for providing selective access to user information

Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for verifying candidate communications. An example method includes establishing an authenticated session with a user using a user device and receiving a communication verification request comprising a candidate communication. The example method further includes determining one or more candidate communication feature values for one or more communication feature types and querying an authentic communication storage repository for an authentic communication record that comprises one or more authentic communication feature values that correspond to the one or more candidate communication features. The example method further includes determining a communication classification for the candidate communication based on a query result and providing a communication verification response comprising the communication classification to the user device.

Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for processing third-party communications. In particular, a method includes: receiving, by communications hardware, a message to be transmitted to a message target device; determining, by a verification engine, that the message is legitimate; appending, by a badge generation engine, a verification badge to the message to obtain a verified message; and transmitting, by an in-application (in-app) messaging engine and via a secured in-app messaging channel, the verified message to the message target device to be displayed on the message target device via an application executing on the message target device.

Systems and methods for processing third-party communications

A method for managing a communication session includes receiving a request to perform a task. The task is divided into one or more steps. One or more user devices are identified that can be used to perform one or more of the steps. One or more communication channels are identified that are available to the one or more user devices. The communication session is permitted to switch from one or more of the user devices and communication channels to complete the one or more steps of the task while maintaining a continuity of the communication session.

Various examples are directed to systems and methods for interfacing a computing system to a human user. For example, a computing system may provide a graphical user interface at a display of a user computing device. The user interface may include a positive financial profile indicator at a first position on the display; a negative financial profile indicator at a second position on the display opposite the positive financial profile indicator; and a user financial profile indicator describing a user, the user financial profile indicator positioned between the positive financial profile indicator and the negative financial profile indicator. The computing system may receive user transaction data describing a financial transaction. The computing system may determine that the financial transaction worsens a financial profile of the user. The computing system may also modify the user interface to orient the user financial profile indicator towards the negative financial profile indicator.

Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media utilized for event-based authentication. One method includes recognizing an event and receiving, from a device, a withdrawal request of a user, wherein the withdrawal request includes a captured feature by the device. The method further includes determining that the user is associated with the recognized event using at least a geographic proximity between the event and the withdrawal request, wherein the geographic proximity is a given radius around a location of the event, and wherein the device is within the given radius and adjusting authentication rules based on the determination that the user is associated with the recognized event, wherein the adjustment of the authentication rules includes adjusting a matching threshold between the captured feature and a reference feature. The method further includes processing the withdrawal request for the user based on the adjusted authentication rules.

An example computing device is programmed to: (a) detect an attempt to secondarily access a user account, the user account being involved in an ongoing primary financial session with a primary device; (b) raise the level of authentication required to secondarily access the user account beyond that which was required to access the account for the primary financial session; (c) when successful authentication at the raised level is achieved, permit secondary access to the user account through a secondary financial session and compare one or more user activities occurring during the secondary financial session to a plurality of fraud profiles; and (d) indicate fraud when comparison of the user activity is consistent with one or more of the plurality of fraud profiles.

Various examples are directed to systems and methods for interfacing a computing system to a human user. For example, a computing system may provide a graphical user interface at a display of a user computing device. The computing system may determine a portion of a first user account associated with the first user that is allocated to the financial goal and a portion of a second user account associated with the second user that is allocated to the financial goal. The computing system may generate a graphical user interface and send the graphical user interface to a first user computing device associated with the first user and to a second user computing device associated with the second user.

The method comprises recognizing, by a financial institution computing system, an event; receiving, by the financial institution computing system, a transaction request of a user; determining, by the financial institution computing system, that the user is associated with the recognized event; adjusting, by the financial institution computing system, authentication rules for the user; and processing, by the financial institution computing system, the transaction request for the user based on the adjusted authentication rules.
