Embodiments of a Z-dimension user-feedback biometric system are provided. In some embodiments, a camera captures subject images positioned along a plurality of Z-dimension positions, including a normal subject image for a mid-range of a capture volume and one or both of the following: (a) a close subject image for a front of the capture volume and (b) a far subject image for a back of the capture volume. In some embodiments, a processing element can be configured to create a normal display image, as well as a close display image (with a first exaggerated quality) and/or a far display image (with a second exaggerated quality). In some embodiments, the first exaggerated quality can be a positive exaggeration of a quality and the second exaggerated quality can be a negative exaggeration of the quality.

In embodiments the wagering game system comprises a plurality of player terminals configured to present wagering games and to collect player activity information associated with the wagering games, the player activity information indicating player inputs and financial transactions. Customer purchases are monitored by obtaining a unique anonymous identifier from the customer as part of a current transaction; and associating the current transaction with a prior transaction using the unique anonymous identifier. The unique anonymous identifier can be, for example, a purchase identifier associated with the prior transaction, and provides a link among a plurality of transactions associated with the customer. A system, method, and article of manufacture for locating or communicating with a patron at a hospitality facility includes a server and a plurality of client terminals. The server may receive, from one of the plurality of client terminals, a patron identifier identifying a patron and a location identifier identifying a location in the hospitality facility and storing the location identifier in an account corresponding to the patron identified by the patron identifier. A patron, using a client terminal may send a request for the location of a particular patron to the server. The server retrieves, from an account corresponding to the particular patron, a location identifier for the particular patron and sends a message based on the location identifier for the particular patron.

System, method, and article of manufacture for locating and communicating with a patron at a hospitality facility

Systems, methods, and articles of manufacture consistent with the present invention allow a patron to play games from an off-site location via an online network. For example, a server may receive, from a first client terminal, a purchase request for at least one wager. The server may determine the results of the at least one wager and store the results of the at least one wager in a database. Then, the server may receive, from a second client terminal, a request to reveal the results of the at least one wager, for example, via an online network, and send the results of the at least one wager to the second client terminal.

System, method, and article of manufacture for gaming from an off-site location

Systems and methods consistent with the present invention allow guests at a hospitality facility to request hospitality facility services from a remote terminal. For example, guests can order merchandise (such as event tickets, food and drink, and retail items), make reservations (for example, at hotels, restaurants, and golf courses), and transfer funds between their gaming and services accounts. Hospitality facility operators can then track the preferences of their guests by storing guest preference information and updating the guest preference information each time a guest requests a service. Based on the stored guest preference information, hospitality facility operators can selectively offer each guest those services most desired by the guest.

A method and apparatus are disclosed for identifying a winner in a bingo game. Players may obtain bingo cards from point-of-sale (POS) terminals that physically prints bingo cards for players in an embodiment where the player appears in person to purchase tickets, or from point-of-sale (POS) terminals that permit players to play bingo in an on-line environment. A game processor maintains a linked list identifying each card in play containing each possible value. Each entry in a linked list includes a pointer to the next element in the linked list. Each bingo card is represented as a bitmap containing an entry corresponding to each square on the bingo card. Each entry in the linked list also identifies the particular square on the bingo card containing the corresponding value, thereby allowing the appropriate entry in the corresponding bitmap to be identified. As each number is drawn, the game processor utilizes the linked list to identify all of the bingo cards in play having the drawn number. As each card containing the drawn number is identified, the corresponding entry in the bitmap is marked. Each possible winning pattern in a bingo game is likewise represented as a bitmap. If a bit in the winning bitmap is set to a value of 1, then the corresponding square must be set on a player's bingo card in order to match the pattern. Winning players are identified by comparing the card bitmap to each of the possible winning bitmaps. If all the 1's that are set in any bitmap for a winning pattern are also set in the card bitmap, then the card is a winning card.
