An illustrative stent may comprise an elongated tubular member having a first end and a second end and an intermediate region disposed therebetween. The elongated tubular member may include at least one flexible tie affixed to an end thereof. The tie may allow the stent to be attached to a lumen wall with a clip, such as a retention clip, to inhibit migration of the stent within the body lumen.

A method for evaluating a gastrointestinal tract may include characterizing one or more disease parameters using objective measures obtained from imaging data of a gastrointestinal tract. The one or more disease parameters reflect a measure of at least one of lesions, ulcers, bleeding, stenosis, and vasculature. The method may also include using the one or more characterized disease parameters to classify a disease state.

Systems and methods for diagnosing and/or monitoring disease

Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, systems, and methods for tissue resection in a body lumen of a patient, and may include an endoscope and a backstop delivery device extendable through the endoscope. The backstop delivery device may deliver a backstop to a location of selected tissue for resection. A backstop may include a covering being deployable in a patient. The covering may have one or more anchoring mechanisms disposed on an edge of the covering. A tissue resecting device may be extendable through the endoscope for resecting the selected tissue for resection. The covering may be deployable to an outer surface of the body lumen, such that the anchoring mechanism may secure the covering to the outer surface of the body lumen and the covering may expand to cover the selected tissue for resection.

A method for evaluating a gastrointestinal tract may include receiving an electrical signal that includes data pertaining to motility in the gastrointestinal tract of a patient and analyzing one or more characteristics of the electrical signal relative to one or more respective thresholds indicative of an occurrence or an imminence of a condition of the gastrointestinal tract.

A tubular prosthesis that includes a scaffolding formed by at least one scaffolding filament; a cover; and at least one controlled ingrowth feature constructed and arranged to abut an inner surface of a lumen wall when the prosthesis is implanted in the body lumen. Devices and methods for modulating intestinal flow

The present disclosure relates generally to devices and methods for full thickness tissue resection of an organ (e.g., intestine). In some embodiments, a device includes a conduit, and a plurality of arms rotatably coupled to the conduit. Each of the plurality of arms is movable between a collapsed position and an expanded position, wherein the plurality of arms extends radially outward from the conduit in the expanded position. The device may further include an electrocautery wire coupled to each of the plurality of arms, the electrocautery wire positioned directly adjacent an exterior tissue wall when the plurality of arms is in the expanded position. The device may be advanced back in towards a lumen of the organ until a targeted section of tissue is cut by the electrocautery wire and removed.

Endoscopic full thickness resection device

The present disclosure relates to the field of endoscopy. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to systems and methods for en bloc resection of malignant and pre-malignant lesions and/or tumors within the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to systems and methods for delivering an expandable scaffold between tissue layers (e.g., between the muscularis and submucosa layers) to elevate and stabilize the lesion or tumor for fast and efficient resection.
