A coupling component having a first end and a second end, the fitting having a longitudinal axis between the first end and the second end, the first end of the component including a first tubular portion having a first internal diameter adapted to form a sliding fit with a first pipe section, and a first sealer adapted such that the first end can be sealed in use to the first pipe section; the second end having a second diameter or cross-sectional area which is larger than the first diameter and wherein the second end incorporates a flange, wherein at least part of the face of said flange is in a plane substantially non-perpendicular to, or offset from, the longitudinal axis of the component.

A fitting for providing a substantially fluid-tight seal between an opening in a chamber wall and a pipe passing through the opening, the fitting including a tubular sleeve adapted to allow the pipe to pass through the sleeve, a flange extending radially outwardly from the sleeve, the fitting incorporating an energy transfer device enabling heating to cause the fitting and the wall to fuse or bond together in order to form a substantially fluid-tight seal.

Connection between a wall and a pipe

A fitting () for providing a substantially fluid-tight seal between an opening in a chamber wall () and a pipe passing through said opening, said fitting () comprising: a first portion () adapted to extend through the opening in the chamber wall and; a second portion () adapted to form a fluid-tight fit with the first portion (), both the first portion () and the second portion () being adapted to allow the pipe to pass therethrough; characterized in that the first portion () is formed from a material adapted to bond to a fiber reinforced plastics material and that the second portion () is formed from an electrofusible polymeric plastics material.

Connection between a pipe and a wall

A fitting for providing a substantially fluid-tight seal between an opening in a chamber wall and a pipe passing through the opening, the fitting including a tubular sleeve adapted to pass through the opening in the chamber wall and further adapted to allow the pipe to pass through the sleeve, a flange extending radially outwardly from the sleeve, a first surface of the flange being configured to contact the chamber wall around substantially the whole circumference of the opening wherein the flange incorporates an energy transfer device enabling the first surface and/or wall of chamber in the vicinity of the flange to be heated to cause the flange and the wall to fuse or bond together in order to form a substantially fluid tight seal.

An electrofusion coupling for joining together two or more sections of pipe or for joining a section of pipe and a pipework fitting, said coupling comprising: (i) a first part () having a first internal diameter at a first end adapted to form a tight sliding fit with a first pipe section and a second internal diameter at a second end, larger than the first; (ii) a second part () having a first internal diameter at a first end adapted to form a tight sliding fit with a second pipe section and an outside diameter at a second end adapted to form a tight sliding fit with the second internal diameter of the first part such that the two parts can nest together tightly with an overlapping region; (iii) electrical heating elements () and electrical terminal connections being provided in the two parts such that the first part can be used independently of the second part to join a section of pipe to a pipework fitting or the first and second parts can be used in combination to join two adjacent sections of pipe.

According to the present invention there is provided a storage tank assembly comprising: (i) a storage tank; (ii) support means comprising at least one load bearing reinforcement means extending around and attached to at least a portion of the outer circumference of the storage tank, the support means further incorporating at least one mounting leg to enable the support means to be connected to a canopy.
