An embodiment operates by receiving, from a seller, an indication to sell a for sale item through an electronic marketplace. An item curve for the for sale item and a seller curve for the seller are generated. A sales curve is generated for the for sale item based on modifying the seller curve for the for sale item based on the item curve. A display of the sales curve is provided for the for sale item and an approval is received via a user interface. The electronic marketplace is monitored based on the approved sales curve, and the for sale item is sold for the seller based on a correspondence between the list price of the for sale item and a bid price.

Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for providing inventory ingestion and pricing system. An embodiment operates by determining an identification of a for sale object to be sold on an electronic marketplace. A set of items similar to the identification of the for sale object are identified from the marketplace. A price of each of at least a subset of the set of similar items that have sold through the electronic marketplace is determined. A sale price is generated for the for sale object based on the determined prices of the items of the subset. An image for one or more of the subset of items, is retrieved from the electronic marketplace. A market descriptor comprising the sale price and the retrieved one or more images is generated. The market descriptor for display is provided for display.

Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for providing inventory ingestion and pricing system. An embodiment operates by identifying an e-mail receipt identifying a purchased object. The e-mail receipt is parsed for the identification of the purchased object. From an electronic marketplace, a set of items similar to the purchased object is identified. A price for a subset of the identified set of similar items that have sold on the electronic marketplace is determined. A sale price for the purchased object is generated based on the determined prices for the subset of similar items. The generated price is provided responsive to the identification of the purchased object.

Inventory ingestion and pricing system

Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for generating sellability and cancellability scores for selling objects on an electronic marketplace. An embodiment operates by receiving, from a mobile device, an image including an object for sale and determining information associated with the object for sale. Information associated with pre-identified objects is determined from information associated with pre-identified objects, where each of the pre-identified objects corresponds to the object for sale. A sellability score and/or a cancellability score is generated based at least in part on the information associated with the object for sale and the information associated with the pre-identified objects. The sellability score and the cancellability score are further provided to users.

Disclosed herein are embodiments for automated intelligent price guidance of listings for a for sale object (FSO) being offered by a seller. Some embodiments may operate by: receiving information relating to the FSO, including specifications for selling the FSO, wherein the specifications include an original offer price and a time window for selling the FSO; determining a category of the FSO; generating an optimal offer price for the FSO based on one or more of: (a) past listings of previously sold FSOs that have a same or similar category of the FSO; (b) the specifications, including the time window; (c) a category decay curve applicable to the category; and (d) seller flexibility curve of the seller; and through the use of a machine learning neural networking analysis suggesting the optimal offer price to the seller as an offer price for a listing corresponding to the FSO, wherein this price is evaluated over time and suggestions are made accordingly.

Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for enhancing the experience for new sellers when creating listings are described. An embodiment operates by: enabling a new seller to create one or more new listings for an electronic marketplace (EM); determining that a number of the new listings satisfy a predetermined threshold; and enabling the new seller to acquire one or more for sale objects (FSOs) from associated eligible listing(s) on the EM at no or reduced cost. In an embodiment, the new seller is a user who has not previously sold a FSO on the EM, and the eligible listings are (1) listings having an offer price less than or equal to a predetermined maximum mice; and (2) listings by users who have not previously sold a FSO on the EM. The new seller may create new listings manually, and/or via any combination of: automatic inventory ingestion based on analyzing images; automatic inventory ingestion based on analyzing emails; and/or automatic inventory ingestion based on analyzing retailer websites.

Disclosed herein are embodiments for intelligent listing creation for a for sale object (FSO). Some embodiments operate by determining a numerical identifier corresponding to a category of the FSO. A binarization of the numerical identifier using hot encoding is performed and using a neural network regression model, an optimal offer price is generated based on a category of the FSO. Information about the FSO is provided to the neural network regression model that tokenizes the textual input, and a unique binary vector representing the category is provided instead of the numerical identifier to the neural network regression model. An optimal price, generated by the neural network regression model, based on the unique binary vector representing the category.

Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for providing inventory ingestion and pricing system. An embodiment operates by receiving, from a mobile device, an image including an object for sale. It is determined that an electronic marketplace includes one or more images of pre-identified objects that have sold. The object from the image is identified based on a comparison of the received image with the images of the one or more of the pre-identified objects from the electronic marketplace. From the electronic marketplace, the price for each of a subset of the one or more of the pre-identified objects that have sold is determined. A sale price for the object for sale is generated based on the determined prices. The sale price for the object for sale is provided to the mobile device.

Disclosed herein are embodiments for automatic, intelligent generation of listings for a for sale object (FSO) being offered by a seller. Some embodiments operate by: receiving information relating to the FSO, including specifications for selling the FSO and an election of an automatic listing option; determining a category of the FSO; generating an optimal offer price based on at least the category; and generating multiple listings for the FSO, wherein the multiple listings have varying titles, descriptions, pictures and offer prices.
