An actuator assembly is provided for converting rotation into linear displacement including a linear fluid dispensing tube for linear displacement. Hemispherical lugs are monolithically formed on the linear member. A primary gear includes a central bore having helix grooves formed into a surface of the central bore. The helix grooves receive the hemispherical lugs so that each helix groove mates with a respective hemispherical lug to reduce friction, so that hemispherical lugs slide smoothly within the respective helix grooves. Linear projections are formed on the exterior surface of the dispensing tube and extend longitudinally along the dispensing tube. A projecting portion has an aperture for receiving and guiding the dispensing tube through the linear displacement. Mating grooves are formed on an interior of the projecting portion for receiving and guiding the linear projections, thereby preventing the dispensing tube from rotating during travel.

An improved electromechanical Blade Clutch Actuator (BCA) that employs an electric gear motor system to provide more economical, convenient and reliable user control with an electric switch to engage/disengage the cutting blades. The user control may be a switch remotely mounted anywhere on the mower for greater design freedom due to the removal of the manual interface. The BCA also incorporates a novel slip clutch for overload protection.

A clutch for a mower has an electric motor, a drive mechanism connected with the motor and an output mechanism connected with the drive mechanism. The drive mechanism has a cam driven by the motor and a cam follower reciprocating along with the cam. Reciprocation of the cam follower switches the output mechanism between a transmission state and a non-transmission state.

A centrifugal pump includes a pump unit and a drive unit. The pump unit includes a volute and an impeller disposed in the volute. The drive unit includes a stator and a rotor having a shaft. The volute includes an inlet, an outlet and a chamber in communication with the inlet and outlet. The shaft of the rotor extends into the chamber of the volute and the impeller is attached to and driven by the shaft. The volute further includes a transition part connected between the outlet and the chamber and communicating the outlet with the chamber. The axis of the transition part is angled to the axis of the outlet. The transition part is configured to improve the effect of fluid turbulence to thereby reduce noise, especially in the air-water stage.
