A method for changing a vehicle wheel held to the vehicle by nuts and retainer cleats comprising: using a mobile robot for removal and replacement of the wheel nuts and retainer cleats in combination with the use of a mobile mechanical wheel handler to grip and remove the wheel and to bring a replacement wheel into position before replacement of the wheel nuts and cleats by the robot.

Apparatus for injecting gas into a vessel including a gas flow ductwhich receives hot gas through a gas inlet structureat a rear end of the duct. An elongate central structureextends throughout the length of ductand carries a series of vanesfor imparting swirl to the gas flow exiting the forward end of the duct. The forward end of the ducthas an internally water cooled tipand water flows to and from tipthrough annular passagesin the wall of duct. Vanesare mounted on central structureso as to extend to forward ends disposed within the duct tipand are dimensioned such that during operation of the apparatus their forward ends are engaged and supported by the internally water cooled duct tip
