A container filling apparatus for topping off receiving containers that are partially filled with an initial amount of a solution of a concentrate and a diluent includes a dispenser for discharging additional concentrate into the receiving container, the dispenser being connected to a source of the concentrate. A controller is connected to the concentrate dispenser, the controller being programmed to determine the amount of the solution initially in the partially filled receiving container, and to discharge concentrate into the receiving container in an amount sufficient to provide a desired concentration of solution for a full receiving container of the solution.

Apparatus for filling receiving containers

A system for controlling a plurality of chemical substance applicators in a facility includes establishing a supply of chemical substance applicators, the applicators being configured to contain the chemical substance and to enable the chemical substance to be applied at various locations within the facility, the chemical substance applicators having data indicators identifying data about the chemical substance applicators. One or more reading mechanisms are positioned at one or more locations within the facility, the reading mechanism being capable of reading data from the data indicators on the chemical substance applicators. A plurality of the chemical substance applicators is introduced into the facility, the chemical substance applicators having the data indicators. The movement of chemical substance applicators within the facility is controlled by monitoring data from the chemical substance applicators using the reading mechanism.

System for controlling chemical substance applicators

A container filling apparatus includes at least one source container that contains a substance and a reading mechanism capable of reading data from a data indicator on a receiving container wherein the data indicator identifies data about the receiving container. The apparatus also includes a controller that is connected to the reading mechanism. The controller is programmed to determine when a dispensing condition is satisfied. The apparatus also has a dispenser for discharging the substance into the receiving container in response to a signal from the controller. The dispensing condition can be a match between data from the data indicator and the data stored for access by the controller. The source container can also have a data indicator. The dispensing condition is then satisfied when the data from the source container data indicator matches the data from the receiving container data indicator.

Apparatus for dispensing a substance

A liquid dispensing bag has a sealed concentrate pouch and a mixing pouch, the concentrate pouch having a fluid tight seal separating the concentrate pouch from the mixing pouch, and the concentrate pouch containing a base material at a first concentration. Upon the introduction of diluent into the mixing pouch, and upon the rupturing of the fluid tight seal, the concentrate pouch and the mixing pouch will be in communication with each other, and the diluent and the base material can mix to form a solution in which the concentration of the base material will be at a second, lesser concentration than the first concentration.
