A golf-swing training device includes a neck strap for wearing about the neck of a golfer-under-training. A tether strap connects to a front part of the neck strap and has an adjustable length. A foot plate is connected to a distal end of the tether strap, and is intended to be held under a foot of the golfer-under-training. Such provides for the head and neck of the golfer-under-training to be held at a constant elevation during a swinging of a golf club. A clip may be attached to the middle of the tether strap and the clothing of the golfer-under-training so the tether strap will be kept close in and away from the swinging golf club.

Golf-swing training harness

A laptop computer harness having a left shoulder strap for providing for the support in front of a standing user of a left side of a laptop computer. An upper part of a single belt is attached at a point near a left rear corner of the laptop computer, then passes over the left shoulder and then under the left arm of the user, and with an attachment to attach a lower part of the strap to a left front corner of the laptop computer. A right shoulder strap for providing for the support in front of the user of a right side of the laptop computer. An upper part of a single belt is attached at a point near a right rear corner of the laptop computer, then passes over the right shoulder and then under the right arm of the user, and with an attachment to attach a lower part of the strap to a right front corner of the laptop computer. A chest webbing for gathering the left shoulder strap to the right shoulder strap along a transverse line in front of the user's neck near the user's chest area. A back webbing for gathering the left shoulder strap to the right shoulder strap along a transverse line in back of the user's neck near the user's shoulder-blade area. A rear clamp assembly for mechanically securing the upper parts of the left and right shoulder straps to the left-rear and right-rear corners of the laptop computer. A front clamp assembly for mechanically securing the lower parts of the left and right shoulder straps to the left-front and right-front corners of the laptop computer. A tensioner for drawing the laptop computer taunt between the front and rear clamp assemblies.

Computer harness to support a computer about the body of a user operator

A computer cable bender which has two haves that are coupled together. The halves are supported by a base and have arcuate channels of circular cross section to surround the cable. The cable is redirected from a vertical orientation to a horizontal orientation thereby providing strain relief to the cable.

In accordance with the invention, conventional cable operated, pull up braking systems can be combined with a pair of bi-directional, rotatable grip subassemblies to provide braking action without change in the rider's grip. Each subassembly of the invention includes a cord attached to a hand grip that includes a longitudinal bore that is slidable about but rotatable with respect to the handle bar. In one embodiment, each hand grip includes a cylinder having an enlarged head, a central segment and a longitudinal bore slightly greater in diameter than the handle bar. At the exterior of the central segment is an exterior cylindrical cover preferably of compressible rubber. The outer diameter of the compressible cover is larger than that of the enlarged head of the support cylinder, and is of sufficient length to comfortably accommodate the grip of the rider. At the interior of the central segment is a pair of bearings prepared by wrapping two separate lengths of ultra high molecular weight tape about the handle bars. In that way, with the rider gripping the hand grips but not the movable members of the conventional braking system, rotation of at least one of the hand grips relative to the handle bars in either a counter-or clockwise direction is translated into linear movement of the cable attached to the movable member whereby braking action is achieved at the front and/or back wheel brake subassemblies of the bicycle. In carrying out the invention, the method steps are also described.

Bi-directional rotating grip brake for use with a conventional hand

A swim fin includes harness for attachment to a wearer's foot, the harness including an adjustable strap secured to the fin on opposite sides of a forward portion of the wearer's foot, the adjustable strap forming an X configuration passing over the wearer's instep and around the wearer's heel. Liner straps are arranged between forward portions of the adjustable strap and the wearer's foot while lateral straps are anchored to rearward portions of the fine and secured to opposite side portions of the adjustable strap. The fin has a generally flat configuration with one or more flanges extended beneath the wearer's foot and along forward portions of the fin for controlling the amount of bending or flexing experienced by the fin.

The combination of a body surfboard (10) and a pair of floats (20) and (21) attached together by fasteners (30), (31) and (32) passing through holes (35), (42) and (44) in the float members and similar holes in the board. A reinforcing web (50) bonded to the outer surface of a portion of each float and a reinforcing rod (52) inserted into a hole drilled from the end of each float serve to reinforce each float against breakage while allowing limited bending of the rear extension (27).

Harness for securing a swim fin beneath a wearer's foot is disclosed including two strap portions having respective front and rear anchor points on opposite sides of the fin relative to the wearer's foot, the strap portions forming an X configuration and being sufficiently long to pass over the wearer's instep, an adjustable heel strap being secured to the respective strap portions forward of their rear anchor points and of a sufficient length for adjustable engagement behind and above the wearer's heel.

Harness for swim fins

In the resist development method disclosed herein, the spin development of a resist coating on the surface of a semiconductor wafer is monitored by measuring light scattered back from the wafer surface from an incandescent source. During development, the sensed light level oscillates due to optical fringing caused by the thinning of the resist layer in the exposed areas and the fringe generated oscillation essentially stops when the development breaks through in the exposed areas. By comparing sample data obtained from the sensed light level with template data representing a known or characteristic behavior, a control point corresonding to the last fringe may be determined. Development is then terminated a calculated time after the control point.

Resist development method

In the heat treating apparatus disclosed herein, semiconductor wafers are baked on the circular hot plate while being sheathed with a uniform vapor flow. The preferred vapor is a mixture of a relatively large volume of nitrogen carrying a relatively small volume of HMDS. After passing over the wafer, the vapor sheath is drawn, through an annular gap, into an exhaust chamber which surrounds and underlies the hot plate thereby avoiding heat and vapor loss into the other portions of the semiconductor fabrication line within which the baking apparatus is typically incorporated.
