Master image chip organization technique or method

There is disclosed a lever apparatus which is adapted to be used on the neck of a musical instrument such as a guitar or other string instrument. The apparatus contains a plurality of spring biased lever arms each of which are pivotally mounted to a common rod by means of an associated U-shaped member. Each lever arm is directed parallel to an associated string of the instrument and has at one end an elastomeric pad which is positioned in a first position to be out of contact with the string. In a second position the user applies pressure to the lever arm with his finger which moves the pad into contact with the string. As soon as pressure is released, the spring automatically returns the arm to the first position. By using the common rod, multiple arrays of such lever arms can be mounted on the neck of the instrument to enable the user to access any string as well as at different fret locations. The nature of the mechanism is such that the same spot on each string will be accessed by the selective actuation of the lever arms.

Disclosed are improved LSI semiconductor design structures termed 'Master Image Chip Organization Techniques'. Utilizing the technique provides increased density and optimized performance of semiconductor devices, circuits, and part number functions. In accordance with the disclosed Master Image Chip Organization Method the semiconductor chips are optimally structured to facilitate the maximum number of devices and circuits, and to facilitate fabrication of a wide variety of LSI part numbers. Essentially, none of the semiconductor surface is dedicated for signal and power wiring channels. A master image wiring structure is provided which resides over the semiconductor surface and beneath a power surface. In addition, the master image wiring structure provides a means for personalizing power and signal wiring for a multiple power surface structure. The combined master image structure provides a means for optimally allocating semiconductor area for devices, functional units (micro and macro) and signal and power wiring to facilitate improved density and performance.

Disclosed is an improved masterslice design technique including structure, wiring, and method of fabricating, to provide improved Large Scale Integrated Devices. In accordance with the improved masterslice technique a plurality of semiconductor chips are provided wherein essentially the entire semiconductor surface area of each chip is utilized to provide cells selectable to be personalized (wired). None of the semiconductor surface area is dedicated for wiring channels. The individual cell area and cell configuration is optimally arrived at to facilitate wiring the maximum number, if not all of the cells contained on each chip, whereby circuit density is materially improved and a wide variety LSI device part numbers may be readily fabricated.

LSI Semiconductor device and fabrication thereof

A pair of beltless trousers or slacks with a novel means of support, which permit the trousers or slacks to present a distinct and attractive appearance. A pair of trousers in accordance with the present invention relies upon neither belts, elastic or foam elastomer bands nor suspenders for support. Instead, the inner flap of the fly of the trousers or slacks is formed into a large, wide inner tab, tapering from a longer vertical side to a shorter vertical side. The shorter vertical side is detachably connected to the stiffening elements and the curtain liner on the inner wall of the left pocket, that is, the side of the waistband corresponding to the outer flap of the fly. This construction permits utilization of pockets which are connected solely to the curtain liner and stiffening elements, and which open to the top. All of the stitching used in the pocket construction and pocket attachment is non-visible from the outside of the trousers or slacks, except for the distinctive side seams of the trousers or slacks.
