A stun grenade includes a fuze assembly secured to a housing adjacent gas outlet ports. The fuze assembly includes a fuze body having contact surfaces located in the flow path of the gas from the outlet ports so that gas flowing from the outlet ports impinges on the contact surfaces. The contact surfaces of the fuze body extend at an angle of no more than about 50 degrees to the first direction.

A ranging and sighting system for a lethal and non-lethal projectile launcher having an housing and a eyepiece positioned on an end of the housing and one or more reticles in the eyepiece having separate indicia for sighting a target and ranging a target and a switch for selecting between the indicia for sighting and the indicia for ranging the target.

A low lethality impact sub-munition and method of making same, the sub-munition including a closed compartment containing a concentration of payload material in close proximity to the forward end of the compartment and a charge of ballast material rearward of the payload material. At least the forward end of the compartment is sufficiently porous that at least some of the payload material will disperse through the forward end but not the ballast material upon impact of the sub-munition with a target.

Low lethality impact payload delivery sub-munitions and methods of manufacture

A drag stabilized low lethality impact munition includes a sub-munition packaged in shell case. The sub-munition includes a main body having a trailing feature that is folded to extend at least partway around at least one of the sides of the main body toward the top of the main body. After folding, the sub-munition is inserted into the shell case, bottom first, while maintaining at least a portion of the trailing feature along at least one of the sides of the main body.

Drag stabilized low lethality impact munitions and methods

A non-lethal ammunition comprising a projectile having a nose component, a driving band adjacent the nose component, and a base component, wherein a densified material is used to control weight distribution of the projectile to improve flight, stability and delivered impact energy of the projectile and the nose component includes features to maximize impact surface area. The projectile is positioned within a shell having a high pressure and low pressure propulsion system which minimizes velocity variance of the projectile.

Non-lethal ammunition

An ammunition cartridge for an electrical discharge weapon having at least one dart positioned within a dart chamber in the housing. The cartridge has at least one adjustable barrel for selection between close and extended ranges and a joint and port for adjusting pressure in the barrel. In another form the cartridge has two fixed barrels and a retractable deflection ramp for selection between close and extended ranges.
