A system that is mountable to an unmanned vehicle and a method of operation is provided. The system includes an attachment plate configured to couple to the unmanned vehicle, the attachment plate having a first feature. A control module is configured to removably couple to the attachment plate, the control module having one or more processors and a power source, the control module having a pin arranged to move from a first position to a second position when the control module is coupled to the attachment plate, the one or more processors being energized when the pin is moved from the first position to the second position. A payload having an energetic element is provided, the payload being coupled to the control module.

Payload platform for unmanned vehicles

A system for separating a first component and a second component is provided. The system includes a first joinder flange having at least one first fastener feature for coupling the first joinder flange to the first component. A second joinder flange is provided having at least one second fastener feature for coupling the second joinder flange to the second component. A separation portion is coupled between the first joinder flange and the second joinder flange, the frangible joint having at least one groove extending along width of the separation portion. An explosive member is arranged adjacent the separation portion. Wherein the first joinder flange includes at least one integral shock attenuation feature formed therein between the explosive member and the at least one first fastener feature.

A manifold (130) is configured to have a body portion (131) having at least one initiation port (132) for receiving an initiation device and at least one tapered boss (138) mounted on the body portion (131). The boss (138) has an elliptical cross-sectional configuration and a boss bore (140) for receiving a fuse or linear explosive charge (16) and it communicates with the initiation port (132). There is a clamp member (160) having an aperture (164) dimensioned and configured to generally conform to the boss (138), and tension means such as a set of bolts (166) for urging the clamp member (160) towards the manifold (130). There may be a bushing material (121) on the boss. The manifold (130) may be coupled to a separation device (23) that includes a frangible joint (24) through which is disposed an expansion member (110). The expansion member (110) may have a containment tube (120) and a linear explosive charge (16) within the tube (120), wherein the tube (120) and the charge (16) protrude from the frangible joint (24). The charge (16) is disposed within the boss bore (140) and the tube is clamped between the boss (138) and the clamp member (160).

Manifold for coupling with a tube and method thereof

A sealing device (30) is provided for sealing the interior of a pressure vessel such as the containment tube (20) of a separation device (8). The sealing device may comprises a detonation manifold (130, 230 or 330) having a body portion (31) having at least one initiation port (32) for receiving a secondary device such as initiation devices (15a, 15b) and at least one mounting boss (138 or 238) having an annular locking channel (162 or 262) along the side surface (138b or 238b) of the mounting boss. A locking collar (150 or 250) having an integral crimping band (158 or 258) which extends along and protrudes from an inner circumferential contact surface (151 or 251) of locking collar (150 or 250).

Sealing device and a method for assembly thereof

The liner (16) and, optionally, the tamper (12) of a shaped charge and the sheathing of mild detonating cord, ignition cord, delay cord, etc., are advantageously made of a tin-copper- or tin-silver-based alloy that is preferably substantially lead-free and that contains not more than about 1 percent antimony. Certain of these alloys generally contain about 97 to 99.9 percent tin, and from 0.1 to 3 percent copper, and optionally not more than 1 percent antimony. Other embodiments contain from 96 to 99.5 percent tin and from 0.5 to 4 percent silver and are substantially free of antimony. Tin-silver alloys for use in the invention preferably have elongations of about 88 and densities that are generally greater than those of the tin-copper alloys.

A system for improving the work environment in a contaminated room while contaminated material, such as asbestos, is being removing therefrom, including a dressing room adjacent the contaminated room, a decontamination unit connecting the dressing room with the contaminated room through which workmen pass when entering or exiting the contaminated room, a filtered air pump for passing filtered air from within the contaminated room through an air discharge opening to the atmosphere to maintain negative air pressure within the contaminated room, a conduit connecting the contaminated room with the decontamination unit, and a filtered air pump for passing filtered air through the conduit into the decontamination unit to maintain positive air pressure within the decontamination unit and air flow therein from the decontamination unit into the contaminated room.

System for improving the work environment in a contaminated room

An apparatus adapted for use with a power jointer having a bed and rotatable cutting blade provides precise, finish cuts on the end edges of boards so as to form good joints in picture frames, window casings, door casings and the like. The apparatus includes a fixed support rail mounted atop the bed and above the cutting blade. A holder, movable with respect to the bed along the support rail, clamps the board on end so that its end edge is disposed substantially parallel to and immediately above the bed for movement over the cutting blade to plane the end edge. Several holders according to this invention are utilized to obtain the desired angle of cut on the end edge of the board. Each separate holder includes at least one clamping surface disposed at an angle relative to the bed, e.g., 90.degree., 45.degree. or 221/2.degree., against which the side edge of the board is mounted to obtain a finish cut of the desired angle at the end edge of the board.
