A Ground Truth Map (GTM) is defined, generated for a local scene and then used to enforce real-time data transmission compliance. Data, and specifically imagery of disallowed objects in the local scene, may pose a risk for 'spillage' (e.g., accidental storage or transmission) at multiple points in the process. Techniques for defining the GTM, handling the session data used to generate the GTM and for using the GTM alone or in combination mitigate the risk of spillage.

Enforcement of offline and real time data capture and transmission compliance using a ground truth map (GTM)

To prevent the transmission of excluded data, a short time-delay between capture and transmission of a video signal is exploited to process the buffered frames to recognize disallowed objects and control the video camera to prevent transmission of any frame including the disallowed object in the video signal. The time-delay can be implemented in real or near real time with, for example, a delay line or memory chip that serve to buffer the sequence of image frames.

An apparatus includes a portable device, which includes a connector configured to contact or grasp a portion of a component and to apply a force on the component during a pull test of the component. The portable device also includes a handle configured to be pulled to apply the force on the component during the pull test of the component. To prevent the capture and transmission of excluded data, a short time-delay between an object recognition sensor and the video camera is exploited to recognize disallowed objects and control the video camera to interrupt and stop images from being transferred into the memory chip where the video signal is formed. The time-delay can also be used to enforce an alignment condition of the video camera to an allowed object. The time-delay can be implemented in real or near real time with a delay line or temporary memory chip positioned between the video camera's ROIC and memory chip. The time-delay prevents the excluded data from entering the video signal and reaching circuitry or being processed downstream of the memory chip.

A hybrid computer/human method for generating, validating and using a ground truth map (GTM) provides for enforcement of data capture and transmission compliance of real and near real time video. Computer-implemented processes are used to identify and classify as allowed or disallowed objects in a local scene based on attributes of a video session. A human interface is available to validate either the object identification or classification. The GTM is then used, preferably in conjunction with motion sense, to enforce data capture and transmission compliance of real and near real time video within the local scene.

To prevent the capture and transmission of excluded data, the current pose and motion of a video camera are used to predict a pose and predicted FOV for the video camera over one or more future frames. The predicted pose and predicted FOV are used to generate cues to enforce an alignment condition to an allowed object or to prevent capture of a disallowed object. If the cues fail, an interrupt is generated to prevent capture of disallowed objects in the video signal and perhaps to deactivate the video camera. The predicted FOV prevents excluded data from entering the video signal and reaching circuitry or being processed downstream of the video camera. This can be implemented in real or near real time.

A zip tie operable with one hand comprising a head having a channel defined by a first top wall, a second top wall, a bottom wall, a first side wall, a second sidewall, a front wall and an end wall. The first top wall and the second top wall are configured to cooperate to provide a top access to the channel. The present invention is for a slip resistant shoelace comprising a shoelace tube and one or more friction inducing features such as a plurality of bumps made of rubber or silicone disposed over at least a portion of the length of the shoelace tube. The bumps can also be disposed over a rope in any desired manner to make it a slippage resistant rope. The plurality of bumps, when come in contact with each other or with any other surfaces in a tied knot, offer higher co-efficient of friction and thus resist slipping of the knot. A knot tied with the slip-resistant shoelace or the slip-resistant rope prevents slipping and prevents from getting loosened and untied inadvertently.

A zip tie operable with one hand comprising an elongated member having serrations and a clamshell type head disposed at one end of the elongated member. The clamshell head is configured to receive the elongated member longitudinally inside a channel defined by a first half and a second half of the clamshell type head to form a loop around a bundle of objects when the first half and the second half are open. Engagement of one or more teeth disposed inside the channel with the serrations caused by closing of the first half and the second half prevents movement of the elongated member opposite to a direction in which the elongated member is pulled by a user.

A system for delivery of payload at a precise location by autonomous delivery vehicle. A machine-readable unique identifier is laid at a place where a user wants delivery of an item. User opens a precise delivery app on smartphone, activates the scanner and standing near the unique identifier scans it. Precise delivery app reads the unique identity of the unique identifier and collects the geophysical location of the smartphone. Third party system feeds this information of the target unique identifier to the autonomous vehicle. The autonomous delivery vehicle includes a first prior art navigator and a second scanner navigator. The autonomous vehicle determines its route to the approximate location of the target unique identifier with the help of the first prior art navigator and the second scanner navigator scans every unique identifier that may be present around that location and guides the autonomous vehicle to the target unique identifier.

Cooperative system and method for precise autonomous delivery

In an AR environment in which the pointing direction of the video camera is slaved to field technician motion to capture a video signal within a camera FOV of an object at arm's length from the technician and remotely-generated hand gestures for manipulation of the object are overlaid on the video signal to instruct the technician in manipulation of the object, a customer-defined key code and FOV limitations are used to exclude portions of a scene for data capture and transmission compliance. If the video camera pointing direction does not satisfy an alignment condition to a marker in the scene, the camera is controlled to exclude at least a portion of the camera FOV that lies outside a user-defined allowable FOV from capture within the video signal. The customer-defined key code includes at least technician identification, marker pairing and specified tolerance fields that define the allowable FOV. The key code allows the technician to control the FOV exclusions to protect the technician from capturing and/or transmitting data in the scene that would violate customer or country policies or legal requirements.
