The present invention relates to a vehicle (), particularly a motor vehicle, with at least one illuminating device having a longitudinally shaped illuminating fixture for creating a light strip along a defined line of the illuminating fixture, wherein a first section (') of the illuminating fixture is arranged on the interior () of the vehicle () and a second section (&#x2032;) of the illuminating fixture is arranged on the exterior () of the vehicle, the illuminating device is set up so as to create a similar light strip along a line of the first (&#x2032;) and of the second section (&#x2032;) of the illuminating fixture, and the light of the light strip created by the first section (&#x2032;) of the illuminating fixture is radiated such that it is visible for an occupant located at a definable position on the interior of the vehicle (), and the light of the light strip created by the second section (&#x2032;) of the illuminating fixture is radiated such that it is visible from a definable position relative to and outside of the vehicle ().

An apparatus for controlling at least one function of a motor vehicle has a touch-sensitive input panel. The touch-sensitive input panel includes a transparent material.

Operator control apparatus in a motor vehicle

A lighting device includes a housing having first and second housing parts to define a receiving space. The housing parts are inwardly recessed and converge into marginal regions, respectively. Arranged in the receiving space is a light conductor. A plastic film strip is arranged between edges of the housing parts and is transparent for light emitted by the light conductor, with the emitted light being projected into one end face of the film strip and extracted from another end face of the film strip. The film strip is sized to terminate flush with the housing parts.

Lighting device

A window device for a motor vehicle device has a transparent first pane including a first structure for coupling out light and a transparent second pane which is connected in parallel to the first pane. Moreover, the window device has an illumination device for coupling first light into the first pane. The second pane has a second structure for coupling out light. A second light can be coupled into the second pane independently of the first light by way of the illumination device.

A lighting device includes a housing having first and second housing parts to define a first receiving space there between, and a third housing part arranged on the second housing part to define an open gap. The third housing part defines with the second housing part a second receiving space in which a first light conductor is arranged. A plastic film strip is arranged between edges of the first and second housing parts and is transparent for light emitted by the first light conductor, with the emitted light being projected into one end face of the film strip and extracted from another end face of the film strip. The film strip is sized to terminate flush with the first and second housing parts. Arranged in the second receiving space is a second light conductor which emits light through the gap.

A device for operating functions of a motor vehicle has an operator control element which serves to control a transmission of the motor vehicle. A switching element for activating and/or releasing a parking brake of the motor vehicle is arranged on the operator control element.
