An oil/water separator for removing oil-containing constituents from an oil/water mixture includes a main filter designed to separate oil-containing constituents from the oil/water mixture. Untreated oil/water mixture is supplied to the main filter and is removed from the oil/water separator after passing through the main filter, wherein the oil/water separator is designed for supply and removal of these liquids in accordance with the hydrostatic principle. The oil/water separator has a control unit designed to temporarily charge the oil/water separator with control air, by means of which overpressure can be used to push oil/water mixture through the main filter.

A purge air regulating unit for a drying device for compressed air, the purge air regulating unit being connectable to a housing in which a membrane filter, such as a bundle of hollow fiber membranes, is arranged such that a sub-flow of dried compressed air flowing out of the housing from an outlet channel can be conducted back to the hollow fiber membranes as purge air by the purge air regulating unit. A method for regulating the flow of dried compressed air flowing out of a membrane dryer back into a housing of the membrane dryer, the membrane dryer being equipped with a membrane filter, such as a bundle of hollow fiber membranes, is also provided.

Pressure dew point-controlled purge air regulating unit

A drying apparatus housing head for compressed air is connected to a housing wherein a diaphragm filter includes an inlet for humid compressed air and an outlet for dried compressed air. The inlet transitions into an inner pipe surrounded by a housing section. The outlet transitions into a ring-shaped chamber formed between an outer side of the inner pipe and an inner side of the housing. A valve ring guide of a main body surrounds the inner pipe and is held immovably, and a ring-shaped rolling diaphragm is arranged in the chamber, held at the outer side thereof and connected at the inner side thereof to a valve ring which surrounds the valve ring guide and moves along a longitudinal axis. The valve ring guide has a duct through which dry compressed air is conducted in the direction of the diaphragm filter and is closed off by the valve ring.

Fill level monitoring relates to a method for controlling the fill level of a collecting vessel, wherein the collecting vessel could be filled with a dielectric medium. A fill level is monitored by a monitoring circuit with a measuring capacitor, the capacity of which changes steadily in correlation with the fill level, at least beyond a fill level range of the collecting vessel. The method includes: determining a capacity of the measuring capacitor; determining the quality of the measuring capacitor; determining a permittivity of the dielectric medium on the basis of the quality of the measuring capacitor; determining a fill level of the collecting vessel on the basis of the determined capacity of the measuring capacitor and the permittivity of the dielectric medium; and fill level-dependent drainage of the dielectric medium from the collecting vessel.

Fill level monitoring

Oil separator cartridge

The invention relates to a condensate discharge device for compressed gas systems, comprising a housing (), which has a condensate collecting chamber () that can be connected to the compressed gas system by means of a condensate feed () and which has a condensate drain () that can be closed by means of valve assembly (), and comprising a tubular body () protruding into the condensate collecting chamber () for accommodating at least one electronic filling level measuring device (), by means of which the condensate filling level in the condensate collecting chamber () can be detected, wherein the housing () can be mounted in a first, vertical mounting position and a second, horizontal mounting position and the longitudinal axis of the tubular body () extends at an angle to the condensate feed direction ().

Condensate discharge device for compressed gas systems

An adsorption dryer () for processing gases, in particular compressed air, having a control head () with valves (), pipe connections () and means for receiving cartridges, and at least two cartridges () which can be connected to the control head () and are filled with adsorption means and to which a stream of fluid can be supplied, as required, via the control head (). The cartridges () each have a cover (), a cartridge casing (), a base () and a central pipe () which extends through the cover () into an interior space () of the cartridge (). The adsorption dryer () is characterized in that the cover (), the cartridge casing () and the base () of the cartridges () can each be secured in place with respect to one another via the central pipe (), the central pipe () in each case projects out of the cartridge () and serves as a connecting means for the control head (), and the cartridge () itself is of compression-resistant design. The ends of the cartridges () are free from any connecting and valve technology.

Compact adsorption dryer

The present invention relates to a steam trap for draining off condensate from a collecting chamber in which condensate resulting in a pressure gas system is collected, the collecting chamber being pressurized by a gas pressure which, depending upon the operating state of the pressure gas system, may be a negative pressure below the atmospheric pressure, an overpressure above the atmospheric pressure or an atmospheric pressure itself. The steam trap may be separated via an interface into an integral first assembly unit and an integral maintenance assembly unit which comprises the essential wear and tear parts.

Condensate drainage with maintenance interface

A filter for separating contaminants from a gas stream, including (a) a housing having a housing body and a housing head, the housing head having an inlet for the gas stream to be purified, an outlet and a first sealing surface, and (b) a filter element accommodated in the housing, having an element head and an element body having a central element axis and an element interior. The element head has a second sealing surface which cooperates with the first sealing surface. A curved inlet manifold is formed between the inlet and the element interior. The inlet manifold is embodied partly in the housing head and partly in the element head such that the first and second sealing surfaces contact in a sealing plane at a 90&#xb0; to 60&#xb0; angle to the element axis. A radially arranged seal is provided on the sealing plane, forming one of the sealing surfaces.
