A device activates/deactivates a maneuvering mode of a drive in a hybrid vehicle, wherein the drive has a combustion engine and an electric motor. The device has a detection unit for detecting whether an electronic parking aid is activated, and a switching unit for activating a maneuvering mode if the electronic parking aid is activated, wherein starting of the combustion engine is deactivated in the maneuvering mode.

Device for activating/deactivating a maneuvering mode of a drive in a hybrid vehicle

An electronic control unit for a motor vehicle diagnostic system includes a diagnostic module for identifying and storing faults; a decision module, by way of which specific fault reactions are assigned to each identifiable fault and specific customer complaint states are assigned to the fault reactions; and a generation module for generating a defined fault status. For each fault which is set in the fault memory and can be transmitted to a diagnostic tester external to the vehicle by way of a fault log, the fault status can be generated such that all customer complaint states assigned to the fault can be identified from the fault log in the diagnostic tester. The decision module is also provided to a suitable diagnostic tester having a transmission interface to the at least one electronic control unit.

Diagnostic system for motor vehicles

A control system for a motor vehicle automatically activates or deactivates a parking lock or an automatic roll-away prevention facility. The control system has at least one electronic control unit which is designed such that limited maneuvering operation is possible within set boundary conditions in accordance with predefined embarking conditions and in accordance with predefined disembarking conditions, an identified intentional maneuvering demand of the driver after prior automatic roll-away prevention of the vehicle being defined as a predefined embarking condition. The limited maneuvering operation may be activatable both in the case of an activated motor and in the case of a deactivated motor proceeding from a secured state. Depending on the differently defined disembarking conditions that are satisfied, a transition can be made from the limited maneuvering operation either into the secured state, or driving operation can be permitted if the defined conditions for the automatically secured state are no longer present.

Control system for automatically activating or deactivating a roll- away prevention facility in motor vehicles

A method for operating a hybrid vehicle having an internal combustion engine and an electrical machine for driving the hybrid vehicle is provided, where the internal combustion engine is supplied with fuel from a fuel tank, a fuel filling level of the fuel tank being determined using a fuel filling level sensor, wherein the electrical machine is supplied with electrical energy from an energy store, and the vehicle is configured to be driven in a purely electric mode, with the internal combustion engine switched off, using the electrical machine. In certain embodiments, the method includes establishing that the fuel filling level sensor indicates that a lower filling level has been reached or undershot, and, in response to this establishing, switching off the internal combustion engine and driving the vehicle in the purely electric mode, with the internal combustion engine switched off, using the electrical machine. Following said driving the vehicle in the purely electric mode of the vehicle, the method further includes switching on the internal combustion engine and driving the vehicle using the internal combustion engine in a special mode with the internal combustion engine switched on when one or more conditions for the special mode are satisfied.
