A method for manufacturing a throttle valve unit having a housing part and a valve flap part that can move in relation to it includes the steps of injection molding the housing part of a first plastic material in a first cavity, transferring the molded housing part to a second cavity spatially decoupled from the first cavity, and injection molding the movable valve flap part out of a second plastic material in a second mold cavity inside the molded housing part. Before the molded housing part is transferred to the second cavity, it is subjected to an intermediate treatment in order to influence the shrinkage behavior, thereby selectively adjusting the gap geometries between the parts.

A final control element for a control unit, for a throttle body located in a conduit carrying a gaseous medium in an internal combustion engine, is disclosed which has a control shaft, supporting the control unit in a manner fixed against relative rotation; a power takeoff member of a final control element gear, the power takeoff member being seated on the control shaft in a manner fixed against relative rotation; and an error sensor, detecting the rotary position of the control shaft, with a rotor part that is connected to the control shaft in a manner fixed against relative rotation. The error sensor is a contactless measurement rotary angle sensor, whose rotor part is integrated by material and positive engagement with the drive member. Preferably, the rotor part is made of sheet metal, and the positive engagement is established by spraying the power takeoff member, made of plastic, onto it. The rotor part is welded to the control shaft.

An exhaust gas recirculation valve which comprises a stub pipe which protrudes into a pipe and with whose opening a valve element interacts, which valve element is moved by an actuator, the actuator being connected to the stub pipe by means of a connecting part in such a way that the above mentioned parts can be jointly inserted through a first opening into the pipe, a closing part of the stub pipe closing a second opening of the pipe, at which location an outwardly protruding end of the stub pipe is connected to an exhaust gas recirculation conduit. The connecting part advantageously also serves to relay measurements of a measurement recording device, recorded at the stub pipe to the analysis device of the measuring device.

A device for controlling the idling speed of an internal combustion engine by controlling a quantity of operating medium which can be fed to the internal combustion engine from an operating medium source via at least two flow lines. The first and the second valve closing elements can be adjusted by an actuator in such a way that the first valve opening and the second valve opening are arranged in series one behind the other between the operating medium source and the intake port of the internal combustion engine. An apparatus for governing the idling rpm of an internal combustion engine, in order to control a quantity of operating fluid to be delivered to at least two flow lines of the engine. According to the invention, the first valve closing member and the second valve closing member are disposed axially displaceably relative to one another and coupled via a slaving device in such a way that in the closing position of the first valve closing member, the second valve closing member is likewise closed, and the second valve closing member is adjustable in the valve opening direction only after attainment of a predetermined opening position of the first valve closing member. The closing properties of the apparatus can be adapted as required by means of the selection of the disposition and design of the springs that act upon the valve closing members. The apparatus is especially suitable for governing the idling rpm of a mixture-compressing internal combustion engine with externally supplied ignition, by controlling a quantity of operating fluid that is deliverable to the engine via a fuel metering device and an intake conduit.
