In a method for producing the filter element (), at least one end cap () is at least partially produced from rubber and a heat-conducting additive, wherein a thermal vulcanization process is carried out.

Filter device having an annular filter element

The invention concerns a filter insert () that is provided as an exchangeable insert in an oil filter of an internal combustion engine, as well as a corresponding oil filter. The oil filter comprises a filter housing () separable along a separating plane () and the exchangeable filter insert (). Two housing parts () of the filter housing () are sealed relative one another along the separating plane () by means of a seal (). The seal () is captively secured on the filter insert ().

Oil filter, oil separator and filter insert thereof

The invention relates to a filtering device, comprising a tubular filter element and a carrier part, with the filter element fastened thereon. The carrier part can be inserted between an unfiltered fluid pipe and a filtered fluid pipe. The pipes can be assembled into a continuous flow pipe, wherein the filter element protrudes into the pipe interior.

Filtering device

In a method for stabilizing folded filter media, a thread is coated with a hot melt adhesive to prepare a coated thread. The coated thread is wound in a plastic state about fold tips of a folded filter medium. The plastic state of the coated thread is maintained by applying heat. The heat is applied in the form of hot air, infrared radiation, or generated by microwaves.

Method for the stabilization of folded filter media and a filter medium stabilized by said method

A filter element for cleaning a fluid having a pleated filter medium designed for radial flow, to the outside of which a circumferential reinforcing thread is applied. The outside of the filter medium is divided into two axial sections, to which the reinforcing thread is applied in a plurality of circumferential thread windings, such that the axial distance between directly adjacent thread windings differs in the two sections.

Filter element for cleaning a fluid

A fuel filter has a filter housing and an annular filter element arranged in the filter housing. Between the bottom of the filter housing and the bottom area of the filter element a water collecting chamber is formed. The filter element has a coalescing element and a particle filter element. Fuel flows radially from the interior to the exterior of the coalescing element and from the exterior to the interior of the particle filter element. A riser tube extends through the clean chamber and the raw chamber from the bottom of the filter housing to the top. The riser tube has a clean channel and a guide channel. A seal on the riser tube separates a clean chamber from a raw chamber of the filter. A water removal tube is arranged inside the guide channel for removing water from the water collecting chamber.

Fuel filter

Wound filter element

A filter element comprising a spirally wound filter through which a fluid to be filtered flows axially and which is provided with a mounting ring on the circumference of the wound filter secured to the wound filter by a welded, adhesive, extruded or fused joint. The mounting ring is provided with a circumferential profiled seal which engages a housing in which the filter element is installed to provide a seal between an unfiltered fluid side of the filter element and a filtered fluid side of the filter element.
