There is provided transport apparatus for carton blanks . The blanks are delivered to a pair of rotating nip rollers by using a segment wheel and a swinging suction arm . The nip rollers are drive at a predetermined speed so as to deliver the blanks between two pairs of endless belts which are driven at the same speed as each other, the speed of the belts being slower than that of the nip rollers . The blanks are, therefore, received by the nip rollers in a pitched manner but the relative speeds ensures that the blanks are transported by the endless belts in an unpitched, end to end relationship.

Carton blank transport apparatus

There is provided for a packaging machine an overhead boom arrangement,having a number of endless belts,driven around sets of rollers,The belts,contact the tops of articles/bottles,or carton blanks,and are driven at the same speed as the speed of the articles through the packaging machine. At least one of the belts,is height adjustable relative to the other belt or belts,The boom arrangement holds the articles,whilst the blanks,are being folded around.
