A brake-pressure control device for a motor-vehicle braking system, with an electric motor, the rotatory motion of which is transformed by a ball screw drive into a translatory motion of a piston in a working cylinder, in order to be able to build up a defined braking pressure in a wheel brake independently of actuation of a master brake cylinder. An aspect provides that the ball screw drive is provided with a friction slip coupling engaged over a profiled tube which is fixedly connected to a nut of the ball screw drive and to which the piston is fixed.

Brake-pressure control device

A brake pressure control unit for a motor vehicle brake system, having an electric motor, the rotational movement of which is transformed by a ball screw drive into a translational movement of a piston, in order for it to be possible to build up a defined brake pressure in a wheel brake independently of the actuation of a brake master cylinder. The electric motor is received in a first housing and the piston is received in a second housing which is arranged diametrically with respect to the first housing, and a third housing with two diametrical end surfaces is arranged between the first and the second housing, on which end surfaces the first and the second housing are fixed.

Brake pressure control unit

It is the intention for a linear unit () for imparting an axially acting force, having a rotational-translational gear (), in particular a ball screw, which has a threaded spindle () and a threaded nut (), and having a force transmission element (), which is in particular in the form of a thrust rod or thrust tube, to be improved such that fewer components are required and the assembly of the linear unit is kept as simple as possible. For this purpose, the threaded nut () and the force transmission element () are connected to one another by means of a positively locking, in particular play-free connection, in particular by means of clinching.

Linear unit and method for the manufacture of a linear unit

A retaining assembly for fixing a flange part, which is provided on a braking device, to a firewall of a motor vehicle, the firewall separating an engine chamber from a vehicle interior. A retaining plate is secured to the firewall face facing the engine chamber, and the flange part and the retaining plate are engaged with each other by both a form-fitting as well as force-fitting connection.

Retaining assembly

It is known in the art to apply a counterforce, which opposes the actuating force, onto an accelerator pedal of a vehicle in the event that the vehicle, with respect to a vehicle parameter, sufficiently deviates from the nominal value. The parameter can be the speed or the measured distance from vehicles driving ahead. The invention discloses a series of embodiments that satisfy especially easily and reliably the defined requirements for applying the counterforce to the pedal.

A hydraulic vehicle brake equipped with a parking brake device, in particular for motor vehicles, including a brake housing in which a hydraulic service pressure chamber is delimited by a brake piston, wherein the parking brake device acts on the brake piston and, in the applied condition, can be locked by a locking device, and an energy accumulator cooperating with the brake piston is equipped with at least one integrated spring element. In order to realize a simple and low-cost parking brake function that complies with legal requirements, according to the invention, the parking brake device is operable by a pressure that is introduced into the service pressure chamber and enables charging the energy accumulator.

Hydraulic vehicle brake

A hydraulic power steering system with a steering gear and a hydraulic actuator for supporting a steering wheel actuation by the driver of a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, includes components for actively applying an additional steering torque, the components for actively applying an additional steering torque including at least one additional torque actuator and a steering torque detector being mounted as a module on a steering wheel shaft that connects the steering wheel to the steering gear.

Hydraulic power assisted steering system

An actuating unit is provided for an electromechanically actuated disc brake for automotive vehicles, substantially comprising a driving unit or an electric motor, an actuating element by which one of two friction linings displaceably arranged within a brake caliper is brought into engagement with a brake disc, and a reduction gear. In order to determine a reaction force occurring during actuation, a sensor device for sensing the reaction force resulting from the actuating force applied by the actuating unit is provided between the guide piece and the brake caliper or a gearbox housing connected to the brake caliper, respectively.

Actuation unit for an electromechanically-actuated disc brake

The present invention relates to a friction brake, in particular a disc brake, for a motor vehicle with a friction element, e.g. a brake disc, coupled to the rotation of a vehicle wheel, forming a friction pairing of the friction brake with at least one associated brake lining, and with at least one clamping device for pressing at least one brake lining to the friction element. At least one controllable friction clutch is provided for using the rotational energy of the friction element in order to obtain the clamping force of the friction brake, the friction clutch being coupled on its input end to the rotation of the friction element and on its output end to the clamping device. Functional advantages are achieved because a friction pairing of the friction clutch is provided independently of the friction pairing of the friction brake. This eliminates undesired mutual influences. Altogether, such a friction brake obviates the need for an additional energy source for generating a brake clamping force.
