A reed () including multiple slats (), which are arranged in a transverse direction (Q) at a distance from one another is disclosed. Each slat () extends from an upper end () to a lower end (). The upper ends () are connected by an adhesive bond to two upper plate parts () of an upper holding shaft (). The lower ends () of the slats () are connected by an adhesive bond to two lower plate parts () of a lower holding shaft (). The plate parts () are each produced from a fiber-reinforced composite material. The entire upper holding shaft () and the entire lower holding shaft () preferably are made of parts produced from a fiber-reinforced composite material.

In the method according to the invention, a wire () provided with teeth () passes sequentially through a first inductor () and a second inductor (). The inductors () function at different frequencies and generate different temperatures. The first inductor () heats in particular the base section (), which is not to be hardened, to a high temperature below the austenitizing temperature range. The second inductor () heats the teeth () to a still higher second temperature within the austenitizing temperature range. Defined, hardened teeth of consistently high quality result at quenching.

All-steel fitting

A reed and a method for producing a reed. The reed has a multiplicity of dents, which are arranged in a width direction, forming interspaces each having a dent spacing. Each dent has two opposite end sections, at which the dents are respectively connected to a carrier and to the immediately adjacent dent or dents by an adhesive connection. In at least one end section, the dent has a plurality of a spacer studs, which are preferably produced by embossing. The spacer studs form a depression on the one, first side and, on the opposite, second side, form a projection having a stud outer surface. The sum of all the stud outer surfaces of the spacer studs of a single end section of a dent has a proportion of at most 15% of the total end section surface on this second side.

Reed and method for producing same

A device and a method for producing a carrier part having a plurality of fiber bundles. At least one fiber bundle strand is removed from a supply with a fiber bundle conveying unit and is conveyed into its own feed channel. A suction channel associated with each feed channel is fluidically connected thereto. An air flow is generated in the suction channel, and an end portion of the at least one fiber bundle strand is conveyed into the suction channel. By moving the at least one suction channel into a working position, the end portion of the at least one fiber bundle strand is free in a working region of the device. A needle unit having at least one needle can pick up the end portion in the working region and can pull or push it through a carrier part as the needle unit moves through the carrier part.

Device and method for producing a carrier part having a plurality of fiber bundles

A method and an apparatus for producing a reinforcement mesh. Here, a reinforcement fiber strand is firstly saturated with a resin (H) and cured to form a cured, fiber-reinforced strand material. The strand material present as an endless material is then cut lengthwise into bars, which are then used as longitudinal bars or transverse bars for forming the reinforcement mesh. A connecting material is used at each intersection point between a longitudinal bar and a transverse bar and is dispensed in liquid form at the intersection point or is liquefied and then cured at the intersection point. A fixed connection is thus created between the longitudinal bars and the transverse bars at the intersection points. Between the intersection points, the longitudinal bars and the transverse bars have portions that are free of connecting material.

Method and apparatus for producing a reinforcement mesh

A method for manufacturing weaving reeds () includes forming the dents () of the reed ()where strip- or tape-shaped objects () are joined together at a given distance apart (A) in the widthwise direction (B) of the reed (). At least one of the strip- or tape-shaped objects () is provided with a prescribed amount (-) of at least one viscous substance applied to its areal surfaces (), particularly to the end portions (E) thereof, said areal surfaces facing in the widthwise direction (B) of the reed (), and are then joined together. A device () for manufacturing reeds (), and a reed () produced using the aforementioned method is included.

In the mounting device () in accordance with the invention, the mounting arm () is held on a guide arrangement (), the guide direction of said guide arrangement being oriented parallel to the rotational axis of the drum () to be fitted. A force measuring arrangementis provided to detect the tensile force in the profile wire, said force measuring arrangement detecting the total force acting on the mounting arm (), at least in longitudinal direction of the wire. In doing so, essentially all the forces acting on the profile wire () are detected, namely, the braking forces of a brake arrangement () as well as the braking forces of other arrangements such as, for example of alignment arrangements, tilting arrangementsor the like.

A latch needle includes a pivot pin connected with the latch in a torque-proof manner, said pivot pin having mirror-symmetrically shaped bearing heads () on both sides of the latch shank (). The bearing heads () are produced by plastic deformation (i.e., axial upsetting of a pin ()) and have a cylindrical exterior shape.

A knitting device () comprising a needle bed () and knitting tools (), wherein the needle bed () is designed so as to be without joints and seams in view of the configuration of its channel walls () as well as perpendicularly to the floor () of the channel through the base body () of the needle bed (). The channel depth of the individual guide channels () is preferably less than three times the channel width. Consequently, in particular in the case of extremely fine needle divisions, the resultant channel walls () are robust and stable and can be subjected to a hardening or coating treatment. The reduced overall weight, the smaller friction surfaces, and the sturdier design of the knitting device enable the operation at greater knitting speeds and with greater rotational accelerations, in particular in reciprocating mode, and an overall savings of lubricants and energy.

A semi-automatic loader for needle boards () includes a filling device ()that presents felting needles () arranged at a ratio that is consistent with the ratio of holes of a needle board. A machine operator can then grasp the felting 5 needles () by use of a multiple collet chuck () and set them in groups in the rows of holes of the needle board (). This provides a loading method featuring extremely high productivity.

A needle-holding device () suitable in particular as a package comprises a flat needle carrier section () and an adjoining section that has a clamping lip () that is resiliently biased against the needle carrier section (). The clamping lip () reaches around the stitch-forming sections of the needles () which are held lying next to each in contact with each other on the needle carrier section (). The resiliently yielding clamping lip () permits the insertion and the pull-out of one, several or of all the needles ().

Needle-receiving device

A heddle shaft () with heddles () that are supported with little play or free of play has at least one heddle support rail (), which is supported movably for elastically tensing the heddles () as a whole, or has at least one movably supported part (). A spring means () serves to exert a tensing force on the heddle head () of each heddle () for supporting that heddle without play. This makes a high operating speed of a power loom, provided with such a heddle shaft, possible without the heddles digging into the heddle support rails and without producing excessive noise.

A felting needle package () in accordance with the invention consists of a case having the shape of a parallelepiped, said case's interior space being divided by a dividing wall (), said wall extending diagonally with respect to the lateral walls but extending at a right angle with respect to the bottom (). The dividing wall () may have one or more interruptions such as, for example openings for grasping. Additional dividing walls may be provided. In plan view, the dividing walls divide wedge-shaped, i.e., prism-shaped, partial spaces in the package, said partial spaces being disposed to accommodate felting needle bundles that are also wedge-shaped.

A clamping device () for temporarily clamping the fabric () in place is provided on the weaving machine (), and interacts with a ventilating device () that effects the temporary elimination of the clamping action. The operation of the ventilating device () is controlled by the movement of the beat-up device () via a mechanical connection that exists between the beat-up device () and the clamping device (), and is effected by a mechanical transmission ()&#x2014;to be understood in the broadest terms&#x2014;via which the clamping force can be eliminated or also generated in some embodiments. Due to the controlled release of the fabric at times or during phases of operation of the weaving machine () that can be adjusted and selected, a simple adaptation of the operation of the weaving machine () to different types of fabric can be achieved. An operation with less longitudinal pull of the fabric is possible. The clamping device () is suitable as a spreader device and can be adapted to various situations without great manual effort.

A shaft connecting device () having a thrust rod () and a lateral support () that fit into each other with minimal transverse play. In addition, the shaft connecting device () has a clamping device () with a stop arrangement () and a fixation arrangement ('), the latter connecting the lateral support () and the thrust rod () exclusively on their respective upper ends to each other. Any opening, closing and adjusting of the connections between the thrust rod () and the lateral support () is possible in a particularly simple and convenient manner. The lateral support () and the thrust rod () support each other, thus resulting in a high dynamic load-bearing capacity. The overall design is simple, clear and cost-effective.
