In an embodiment a sensor unit includes a hub axle connectable to an electric motor of a drive device of an electric bicycle, a housing element rotatable about an axis of rotation and configured to form a part of a motor housing for the electric motor, wherein the housing element is coupled to the hub axle and comprises an opening through which the hub axle extends and a first printed circuit board and a second printed circuit board configured to determine a torque of a rider of the electric bicycle and are coupled to one another in terms of signal technology, wherein the printed circuit boards are coupled to the hub axle on opposite sides of the housing element and at least partially surround the hub axle with respect to the axis of rotation.

A housing, particularly a battery housing, includes at least one first housing part, at least one second housing part, and at least one connecting member connecting the first housing part to the second housing part. The first housing part and the second housing part are configured such that, in an interconnected state, they separate a housing interior space from an environment situated on the other side of the first housing part and the second housing part. The housing is characterized in that the at least one connecting member is configured as a profile rail engaged with the first housing part and with the second housing part.

An auxiliary motor, for a bicycle, includes an energy storage device for storing energy, a drive device for converting the energy stored in the energy storage device into kinetic energy and a transmission device for transmitting the kinetic energy onto a pedal crank spindle. The auxiliary motor is designed to be attached to a down tube of a bicycle at least parallel to the down tube and to power a pedal crank of the bicycle.
