The invention provides a mower. The mower comprises a housing and a cutting device arranged in the housing. The mower is provided with a height adjustment device. The height adjustment device comprises a rotating member and a traction member arranged on the housing. One end of the traction member is fixed on the rotating member, and the other end of the traction member is fixed on the cutting device. The rotating member rotates to drive the traction member to adjust the height of the cutting device. Such an arrangement makes the mower have a simple structure, save internal space of the mower, and be convenient to operate.

Mower

A lift detection arrangement in a robotic lawnmower for detecting a lift of a body of the robotic lawnmower relative to a chassis of the robotic lawnmower. The lift detection arrangement includes a collision absorber; and a sensor arrangement including a spring, a movable part, a metal plate and a sensor. The collision absorber is screwed to two plastic parts and arranged to allow a displacement of the body relative to the chassis in a collision plane during a collision between an obstacle and the robotic lawnmower, but not in a vertical direction. The moveable part is arranged to provide a displacement of the body relative to the chassis in a lift direction during a lift of the body. The sensor is configured to sense the distance to the metal plate that is fixed to the moveable part and to trigger a cut off of power to a cutting blade of the robotic lawnmower if the distance becomes greater than a predetermined distance.

Safety switch for a gardening device driven by a motor. The safety switch includes a main button arrangement and a sub button arrangement which is provided onto the main button arrangement. The main button arrangement may pivot between a first position and a second position. In the first position the sub button arrangement may be provided in an arrest position and in the second position the sub button arrangement is arranged in an energize position. Further, the sub button arrangement includes biasing means by means of which biasing means the sub button arrangement is biased towards the arrest position in the first position, and by application of an external force the sub button arrangement may be moved towards a biasing force exerted by the biasing means and be slid to the energize position where the main button arrangement may activate the power means in the second position.
