The invention relates to an angle connector that is to be mounted on a unit housing and comprises a plug housing and a housing flange which partially extends over the plug housing and can be fastened in a rotationally fixed manner to the unit housing. The plug housing is rotatably fastened to the housing flange and can be twisted, using rotational resistance, relative to the housing flange in order to define the direction of extension. The plug housing of the disclosed angle connector is rotatably mounted on the housing flange by means of an elastic sleeve which is rotatably accommodated inside an annular front recess of the plug housing or housing flange and engages in a rotationally fixed manner with the respective associated housing flange or plug housing. In the area where the plug housing and the housing flange overlap, the plug housing and the housing flange are positively interconnected in at least some sections in an axial and radial direction while being non-positively interconnected in the circumferential direction by means of the sleeve.

Angle connector featuring a variable direction of extension

Electrical plug-in connection (), having a plug part () and a mating plug part (), which can be plugged together and produce a large number of electrical plug-in connections, at least the plug part () or the mating plug part () bearing, on its body (), a union nut (), which can be screwed to the mating plug part () or the plug part () and secures the plug-in connection () against becoming disconnected in an undesirable manner. The union nut () has, at both of its ends, an internal thread () for simultaneously screwing it to the plug part () and the mating plug part (), the internal threads () being formed in the opposite direction.

Electrical plug-in connection

A method for producing contact jacks for electric plug-in connectors. The method comprises the steps of providing a continuous strip of a sheet metal material, as a supporting material, with a curvature that is limited on both sides by flat longitudinal edge regions or a comparable deformation that is directed longitudinally centrally and transversely to its plane; punching out a contact strip sequence with contacting strips having a width exceeding the width of the supporting material, while leaving spacing-assuring edge strips; undetachably connecting the contacting strips along respective longitudinal edge regions with the supporting material using a contact-assuring method; cutting off a sheath surface of a jack from a continuous strip of the sheet metal material, equipped with the contacting means, at a length corresponding to that of a jack, and rolling the surface into a jack; and bringing the curvature or comparable deformation into a stretching position such that the finished jack has a smooth cylindrical outer surface.

Method for producing contact jacks for electric plug-in connectors

An electrical plug connector half connectable with another matching electrical plug connector half and including a housing having a cable entrance, at least one contact carrier located in the housing, a cap secured to the housing at its cable entrance end, a union overlapping the housing and an end of the contact carrier projecting beyond the respective end of the housing and supported on axially spaced, radially projecting annular webs of the housing forming slide bearing regions, and a safety arrangement for preventing an inadvertent rotation of the union in a direction corresponding to release of threaded connection of the plug connector halves, with the safety arrangement being located in an annular space between the axially spaced slide bearing regions and including a circular saw toothing provided on the union or the housing and at least one spring-biased pawl cooperating with the saw toothing and provided an another of the union and the housing.

Electrical plug connector half

A plug socket for establishing a high-current electrical connection and including a metal body formed along a portion of its longitudinal extent as a hollow cylinder section, and a contact spring jack received in the hollow cylinder section and having a plurality of linear, substantially hyperbolically extending, contact elements connected at their opposite ends by respective circumferential material bands, with the contact spring jack being anchored, at its rear, with respect to a plug-in direction of an associated contact pin, end in the hollow cylinder section with a press fit, and with its front, in the plug-in direction of the associated contact pin, end forming a sliding fit connection with the hollow cylinder section.

Plug socket with high-current contact

A circular plug and socket connector is introduced for producing electrical line connections. In the region of one of its ends it includes a housing, accommodating and holding an insulating base as contact carrier and, in the region of its other end, is includes a sealing cable lead-in and a coupling ring, which makes a screwed connection with a second plug and socket connector half of complementary construction and is mounted rotatably on the outer periphery of the housing and secured against being pulled off in the axial direction and a covering cap fixed mechanically to the housing. In the interests of improving the ease of installation and service, the circular plug and socket connector is distinguished in that a coupling ring, extending over more than the total length of the plug and socket connector half, is supported in the region of its free end, protruding over contact carrier, on a cylindrical peripheral surface of the housing and, in the region of its other end, on a cylindrical longitudinal section of a neck continuation of the covering cap.

Construction of a circular and socket connector for producing electrical line connections

For a readily manufactured configuration of contact plugs for electrical plug connectors, which consists of a stable sleeve body, formed from a sheet material, and a contact spring plug, lying in this sleeve body and having a plurality of contacting means, such as contacting wires or contacting strips in linear or strip-shaped contact with a contact pin, which is to be introduced into the plug, it is proposed that the sleeve body be provided with at least one projection, which is directed transversely to the longitudinal axis of the contact plug and formed by at least one stamping and is in positive engagement with one of the two edge strips of sheet material, connecting the contact wires or contact strips of the contact spring plug with one another.
