Method for topology determination in a mobile communications site, wherein the mobile communications site has n nodes each having m ports. In 'determining' (S), the number of existing nodes is determined. In 'designating', one of these nodes is designated as the master node and the others as slave nodes. In &#x2018;selecting&#x2019;, a slave node is selected as a test slave node and the communication of the other slave nodes is prevented. In &#x2018;testing&#x2019;, a test is performed to determine via which ports of the master node and via which ports of the test slave node a communication is possible. Thereafter, &#x2018;selecting&#x2019; and &#x2018;testing&#x2019; are repeated for the other slave nodes, wherein in the method step &#x2018;selecting&#x2019;, a different slave node is selected as the test slave node in each case. In the method step &#x2018;generating&#x2019;, a connection topology is then generated for the master node.

Method for topology determination in a mobile communications site, a computer program, a computer program product and a corresponding mobile communications site

A mobile communications transmission system provides a plurality of mobile communications cells in a building or campus. It comprises a first baseband unit and a first gateway device, which is connectable to a data network. At least one transceiver unit is connected to the first baseband unit. The at least one transceiver unit is configured to provide at least one first mobile communications cell. By way of this first mobile communications cell, a subscriber device in the building can exchange information with the data network. A first control device is connected to the first baseband unit and the first gateway device. The first baseband unit and the first gateway device are installed in the building or campus in which the at least one transceiver unit provides the at least one first mobile communications cell, whereas the first control device is accommodated remote therefrom at an operating company.

Mobile communications transmission system for providing a multiplicity of mobile communications cells in a building or campus

A control system includes a master, at least one slave, and a communication module arranged between the master and the at least one slave, through which the master and the at least one slave communicate. The master sends control commands for controlling the at least one slave and the at least one slave responds to the control commands of the master. The communication module relays the respective control commands and responses. The master transmits to the communication module in one or a plurality of requests at least one control command and at least one associated timing requirement, the communication module processes the request(s) by sending the at least one control command according to the at least one timing requirement to the at least one slave, and the communication module determines timing information concerning the communication with the at least one slave and sends said timing information to the master.
