The present invention relates to a drive apparatus for a wheel of a work machine, having an electric motor which comprises a rotor which is rotatably received in a stator and which is supported at bearing plates which are arranged at the end side and between which coil head spaces are provided for receiving coil heads, wherein a cooling apparatus for cooling of the stator and the rotor comprises at least one coolant path through the coil head spaces which is suppliable with coolant from a peripheral side via a coolant inlet preferably provided at a peripheral side.

Drive apparatus for a wheel of a work machine

The present invention relates to electrical machines having a shaft rotatably supported in a housing and having a labyrinth seal with labyrinth contours engaging into one another for sealing the housing with respect to the shaft. The invention in this respect in particular relates to the labyrinth seal for sealing the housing of a three-phase machine with respect to a shaft rotatable relative to the housing. In accordance with the invention, at least one side of the labyrinth seal is at least provided with an insulating coating in the region of the labyrinth contours.

The present invention relates to a self-propelled surface milling machine, preferably in the form of an asphalt-milling machine, snow-milling machine or Surface Miner, having a mill roll which is drivable about a rotational axis, and a mill roll drive comprising an electrical motor which is accommodated within the mill roll, wherein stator and rotor of the electrical motor are accommodated within a dust and air-tightly sealed motor housing. It will be suggested to associate a cooling device comprising a closed circuit liquid cooling system to the electrical motor located within the milling roll body. Due to the high heat capacity of a suitable coolant, such as oil or mixed water and glycol small volume flows and hence small conduit cross sections will be sufficient. On the other hand, any incorporation of dust into the mill-roll drive as well as any formation of dust by discharge air can be avoided by the closed form of the circuit liquid cooling system.

The present invention relates to an electric tracklaying gear and the use thereof for a self-propelled working machine, preferably for a construction or earth-moving machine or a surface mining machine such as Surface Miner, which includes an endlessly circulating track chain which can be driven by a crawler drive that is arranged inside the path of circulation of the track chain. It is proposed to associate a cooling device with a closed fluid cooling circuit to the electric motor of the crawler drive arranged in the interior of the path of circulation of the track chain. Due to the high thermal capacity of a suitable cooling fluid such as oil or water-glycol mixture small volumetric flow rates in the fluid cooling circuit and hence small conduit cross-sections are sufficient. On the other hand, due to the closed formation of the fluid cooling circuit any dust input into the crawler drive and also any generation of dust by exhaust air can be avoided.

Electric tracklaying gear and use thereof for a self-propelled working machine

The present invention relates to a self-propelled working machine, especially in the form of a surface milling machine, such as asphalt-milling machine or snow-milling machine comprising a main operating unit and/or a drive unit, which is operable in a steady-state or near steady-state operating status and is drivable by a drive device comprising at least an electrical motor, the electrical motor being associated with a start-up including a frequency converter for the limitation of starting current. The invention also relates to a process for operating such a self-propelled working machine. According to the invention an operating circuit for steady-state operation is provided, comprising a jumper for bridging the frequency converter following starting or reaching steady-state operational status. Optionally, the jumper is switchable to activate or inactivate the frequency converter of the start-up circuit, respectively.

Self-propelled working machine with electrical drive system and processes for operating the same

A winch for elevating at a plant, in particular for cranes, cable-operated excavators, and similar construction machinery, has a hoisting drum, an electric motor for the drive of the hoisting drum which is received in the interior of the hoisting drum, and power electronics and/or control electronics for the electric motor including at least one frequency inverter and/or frequency converter. The power electronics and/or control electronics for the electric motor are received at least partly in the interior of the hoisting drum. With the compact construction of the winch, short cabling distances are achieved, interference emissions having negative effects on electromagnetic compatibility are avoided, and voltage overshoots impairing the service life of the inverter and the motor are reduced.
