An abrasive cut-off wheel with an abrasive cut-off ring (), the abrasive body () of which comprises bound abrasive, wherein the abrasive cut-off ring () is fixed in the operating state by means of two circular clamping discs () that can be clamped together in axial direction by means of central clamping flanges () on the machine side, and at least one clamping disc () is connected in an anti-twist manner to the abrasive cut-off ring () by means of interacting projections () and recesses (), and wherein the projections () and recesses () respectively arranged on the abrasive cut-off ring () are provided on a metal insert () of the abrasive cut-off ring (), which projects beyond the abrasive body () in radial direction.

The present invention is directed to an insertion tool () for a machine tool that has a hub () with at least one opening () for insertion of a fastening means (), via which the hub () is clampable on a driving flange () of the machine tool connected to a drive shaft, the opening () including a retaining region () and a releasing region (), the releasing region () including a stop () for limiting a release motion of the fastening means (). It is provided that the opening () adjacent to the stop () has a convex section ().

A marker tag for tree trunks is provided with a flat element bearing indicia adapted to clip onto an applicator hammer. A nail extends perpendicularly through the flat element and is able to slide in a passage opening in the flat element preferably subject to the action of a clamping force and only able to be slid on application of a force. After driving the nail provided with the marker tag into a living tree trunk the trunk continues to increase in diameter and accordingly pushes the marker tag along the nail so that after a certain number of years it is stripped off and drops to the ground.

A system with a tool-holding socket, which has a driver device that can be used to operationally connect an insert tool to a drive shaft, and has an insert tool, wherein the insert tool can be operationally connected to the driver device by at least one detent element which is supported so that can move in opposition to a spring element, engages in detent fashion in an operating position of the insert tool, and fixes the insert tool in a positively engaging fashion, wherein at least part of a mechanism for preventing a laterally inverted installation of the insert tool is formed at least onto the tool-holding socket.

The invention is based on an insertable tool having a rotationally drivable, disk-shaped hub (), on which a grinding means () forming a cutoff disk, grinding disk, roughing disk, or abrasive disk is secured in the radially outer region. The invention is based on a tool receiver for a grinder, in particular for a handheld angle grinder (), having a carrier device (), via which an application tool () can be actively connected to a drive shaft (). It is proposed that the application tool () be actively connectable to the carrier device () via at least one detent element () movable against a spring force that snaps into place in an operating position of the application tool () and immobilizes the application tool () with positive engagement.

The invention relates to a clamping device for grinding discs ( ) having clamping elements which are formed by a clamping flange ( ) and a clamping nut ( ). A rigid, preferably metallic intermediate ring ( ) is arranged between a clamping element and the grinding disc ( ). The intermediate ring distances the grinding disc ( ) from the clamping element. To manufacture a sound absorbing grinding wheel, vibration damping foils (2) and zones of the grinding compound forming the grinding layers (1) are alternately inserted or poured into a mold (5) and compressed. The obtained grinding wheel blank (7) is cured in a furnace at temperatures from 150.degree. C. to 200.degree. C. The foils (2) are of butyl rubber.
