A tandem axle having two drivable axles, each axle including a differential gearing with a drive input gearwheel, drivable by a shaft, as a differential gearing input and with two drive input semi-axles driving the wheels of the axle using axle shaft wheels. The wheels of the first axle are permanently positively coupled to the drive input gearwheel of the axle. An activatable distributor wheel is seated on a drive input shaft of the drive input gearwheel of the first axle. The distributor wheel meshes with a through drive shaft wheel which is arranged in a rotationally rigid fashion on a through drive shaft. The output of the through drive shaft is coupled to the input-side drive input gearwheel of the second axle by means of intermediate members. Switchable clutches are arranged in the second axle between the axle shaft wheels and their adjacent wheels.

Tandem axle having two drivable axles and a drivetrain which can be partially disconnected

In a wheel support structure of a commercial vehicle including an axle with a jaw structure having two bearing bores and a stub protruding into the jaw structure with a pin extending into the stub and into the bearing bores, the bearing bores are closed adjustably by screw caps threaded into the bearing bores for adjusting the pin position and setting a predetermined moment of friction between the bearing elements.

A front axle of a motor vehicle with steerable, driven or non-driven wheels on steering knuckles pivotably hinged at a wheel-guiding element with an upper and a lower bearing position, each of which accommodates a radial bearing for mounting a steering knuckle bolt with a pot-shaped sleeve with a sealed lubricant reservoir and forms a bearing bushing. A stop disk is arranged a bottom of the sleeve to absorb axial forces and roll bodies of the radial bearing are supported with the supporting surfaces at the stop disk.

Front axle of a motor vehicle with steerable, driven or not driven wheels

A wheel bearing of a motor vehicle, with a wheel hub arranged rotatably on a transmission axle via at least one pair of rolling bearings and having a flanged surface for at least one running wheel. A brake disc is connected to the wheel hub. The wheel hub is of two-part or multi-part design and a first wheel-hub part is connected to a first rolling bearing and/or to a second rolling bearing and a second wheel-hub part is connected to the brake disc.
