In an arrangement for supplying media to a blowing lance for a metallurgical vessel including a blowing lance arranged on a lance carrier, a connection piece of the lance carrier connected to at least one media supply duct is pressable at a counter connection piece of the blowing lance such that the media supply duct is sealingly connectable to a corresponding medium channel of the blowing lance. In order to ensure the tight connection between blowing lance and lance carrier in a sinmple manner and without manual manipulations, a displacement means including a seat for the blowing lance is provided on the lance carrier to move the counter connection piece from a released position into a coupled position and vice versa. The displacement means is movable by a driving device, which presses the counter connection piece against the connection piece in the coupled position, selflockingly and positively fixing the displacement means in the coupled position.

Arrangement for supplying media to a blowing lance

An arrangement for cleaning a lance head of a lance introducible into a metallurgical vessel includes a cleaning head being in contact with the lance head during the cleaning procedure and surrounding the lance head. The cleaning head and the lance are relatively movable in the direction of the axis of the lance. In order to be able to carefully clean the lance head on its side facing the melt bath present in the metallurgical vessel by preventing the penetration of slag during the measuring procedure between the measuring and/or sampling probe and the end face of the lance, the cleaning head and the lance are placeable into an aligned position by an adjustment device. The cleaning head is settable into a rotational movement reciprocating about the axis of the lance by an oscillation device.

A magazine for measuring and/or sampling probes includes storage compartments accommodating the probes in a horizontal position, and supply and delivery openings provided parallel to the probes. A conveying means is arranged at the delivery openings to deliver the probes to an erecting means placing the probes in a vertical position. In order to ensure an optimum utilization of space with little space being required beside the magazine, the magazine comprises a plurality of superposed storage compartments provided with a roll bevel for the probes. Their vertically superposed delivery openings are passed by a lift for accommodating one probe each from one of the storage compartments. The lift is movable to the erecting means from a delivery opening each.

Magazine arrangement for measuring and/or sampling probes

An arrangement for exchanging measuring and/or sampling probes capable of beig slipped on to a holding means arranged on the lower end of a lance, includes a grab clamping the probe and movable from an operation position below the lance into a position laterally therebeside. A centering means is provided above the grab being in the operation position to align the lance with the grab. In order that the grab will be placed always in the same operation position, the centering means includes two catch arms moveable from a resting position lateral of the holding means into a catch position fixing the holding means in alignment above the grab being in the working position.

There is disclosed an arrangement for exchanging measuring and/or sampling probes capable of being slipped on to a holding means arranged on the lower end of a vertically movable lance with friction-tight contact. It includes a grab clamping the probe and movable from an operation position below the lance into a position laterally therebeside. In order to be able to slip on a probe to a holding means assuming a position that deviates from the ideal position, without damage to the holding means and the probes, the grab is mounted on the arrangement by universal joint means.
