A seismic node for collecting seismic data, the seismic node including a base configured to define a chamber having an open face; a main electronic board having a processor, the main electronic board being placed inside the chamber; a battery pack configured to supply electrical power to the main electronic board and placed inside the chamber; and a digital cover that attaches to the open side of the base to seal the chamber, and a sensor device located inside the chamber and attached to a wall of the base to form a digital field unit, or an analog cover that attaches to the open side of the base to seal the chamber, and an analog sensor electrically attached to the analog cover to form an analog field unit.

Wireless seismic acquisition node and method

A stress relief device is provided for a connector. The connector is connected to a cable and configured for cooperating with a complementary connector along a longitudinal axis. The stress relief device includes: an anchor configured for being placed around a portion of the cable so as to allow a stress relief of the portion of the cable, the portion of the cable being adjacent to the connector; a shell configured for being connected to the anchor and for at least partially wrapping the connector; and a locking system configured for connecting and locking the shell to a similar shell of a similar stress relief device for the complementary connector. The stress relief device is detachably mountable on the connector and is configured such that its mounting/dismounting does not require any change in the connection/disconnection of the connectors to one another.

A module is provided for processing geophysical data coming from at least one geophysical sensor. A stress-relief device is provided, which is configured for being mounted on a geophysical equipment or node connected to at least two cables. The device includes a case configured for surrounding the geophysical equipment or node and for making at least an opening for enabling a connection between each of the at least two cables and the geophysical equipment or node. The device also includes a housing for housing a portion of each of the two cables, the housing being configured for substantially preventing any movement of said portions of the two cables.
