A forming fabric tape for a machine for producing or processing a fiber web, the forming fabric tape including an upper fabric layer including upper longitudinal threads and upper transversal threads woven with the upper longitudinal threads; and a lower fabric layer including lower longitudinal threads and lower transversal threads woven with the lower longitudinal threads, wherein the upper fabric layer and the lower fabric layer are arranged above one another so that the upper fabric layer is oriented towards the fiber material web and the lower fabric layer is oriented away from the fiber web, wherein the upper fabric layer is connected with the lower fabric layer by binding threads (B-B) running in a transversal direction of the fabric tape, wherein a weaving pattern of the forming fabric tape is repeated in pattern repeats, wherein the pattern repeats are formed from plural longitudinal thread supergroups.

Fabric tape

A forming fabric tape for a machine for producing or processing a fiber material web, the forming fabric tape including an upper fabric layer including upper longitudinal threads and upper transversal threads woven into the upper longitudinal threads; and a lower fabric layer including lower longitudinal threads and lower transversal threads woven into the lower longitudinal threads, wherein the upper fabric layer and the lower fabric layer are arranged on top of one another so that the upper fabric layer is oriented towards the fiber material web and the lower fabric layer is oriented away from the fiber material web, wherein the upper longitudinal threads are offset from each other unevenly, wherein the upper longitudinal threads are arranged so that average distances of the upper longitudinal threads have the following sequence which is repeated continuously in the transversal direction of the fabric tape: large distance, large distance, small distance.

A forming fabric tape for a machine for producing and/or processing a fiber material web, the forming fabric tape including an upper fabric layer including upper longitudinal threads and upper transversal threads woven into the upper longitudinal threads; and a lower fabric layer including lower longitudinal threads and lower transversal threads woven into the lower longitudinal threads, wherein the upper fabric layer and the lower fabric layer are arranged on top of one another so that the upper fabric layer is oriented towards the fiber material web being produced when the fabric tape is being used in the machine and the lower fabric layer is oriented away from the fiber material web being produced, wherein a first distance Abetween two directly adjacent lower longitudinal threads is greater than a second distance Abetween two directly adjacent lower longitudinal threads.

A paper machine clothing has a substrate with an upper side, a lower side, two lateral edges and a usable region between the two lateral edges. The usable region is formed with a plurality of through-channels extending through the substrate and connecting the upper side with the lower side. The through-channels are non-cylindrical with a cross sectional area becoming smaller when going in a thickness direction of the substrate from the upper side to a middle region of the substrate between the upper side and the lower side, wherein a shape of the cross sectional area of at least one through-channel, preferably of all through-channels, of the plurality of through-channels changes proceeding in the thickness direction of the substrate from the upper side to the lower side.

Paper machine clothing and method of producing the same

A paper machine clothing has a substrate with an upper side, a lower side, two lateral edges and a usable region between the two lateral edges. The usable region is formed with a multiplicity of through-channels that extend through the substrate from the upper side to the lower side. The through-channels are non-cylindrical with a cross sectional area becoming smaller when going in a thickness direction of the substrate from the upper side to a middle region of the substrate between the upper side and the lower side. An upper rim of at least one of the plurality of through-channels directly contacts an upper rim of at least one other neighboring through-channel of the plurality of through-channels. There is also described a method of producing such a paper machine clothing.

Paper machine clothing and method of producing the clothing

A woven-fabric web, such as a forming fabric or forming wire, for a machine for producing and/or processing a fibrous web, has a first woven-fabric layer with first longitudinal threads and first transverse threads interwoven with the first longitudinal threads and a second woven-fabric layer with second longitudinal threads and second transverse threads interwoven with the second longitudinal threads. The weaving pattern of the fabric is repeated in pattern repeats. The first and second longitudinal threads are arranged in a plurality of groups in each pattern repeat, with a first group and a second group and at least one further of the first and/or second group. Each first group is formed from a first longitudinal thread and a second longitudinal thread arranged below the first longitudinal thread and the first and second longitudinal threads in each group are arranged at no offset or only a slight offset in plan view.

Forming fabric

A fabric tape or forming wire for a fibrous web manufacturing or processing machine, includes an upper fabric layer having upper longitudinal threads and interwoven first crossthreads, and a lower fabric layer having lower longitudinal threads and interwoven lower crossthreads. The fabric layers are stacked and the weaving pattern of the tape repeats. A ratio of upper to lower longitudinal threads in a repeat is smaller than one. The upper and lower longitudinal threads in each repeat are in first and second groups. Each first group is formed by an upper longitudinal thread and two lower longitudinal threads thereunder. Each second group is formed by an upper longitudinal thread and a lower longitudinal thread thereunder. In a perpendicular projection onto the fabric layers, the upper and lower longitudinal threads in each group are not or slightly offset forming a maximum free space of a half upper longitudinal thread diameter therebetween.

Forming wire

A woven wire for use in a paper, cardboard, or tissue manufacturing machine, has a first fabric layer providing a web-contact side and a second fabric layer providing a machine-contact side. The layers have machine-direction threads, cross-direction threads, and binder threads. A first fabric layer has a weaving pattern of interwoven first MD threads, first CD threads and binder threads. The second fabric layer has a weaving pattern of interwoven second MD threads and second CD threads. The first and second fabric layers are interconnected by binder threads. The binder threads are interwoven with MD threads and/or CD threads of the first and of the second fabric layers. The first MD threads, the first CD threads and the binder threads have a circular cross-sectional face. At least some or all second MD threads have a cross-sectional face with a flattened shape different from a circular shape.

A fabric belt for a machine for producing a web of fibrous material includes: a first fabric layer including a web contact side and formed by interweaving a plurality of warps with a plurality of wefts; and a second fabric layer positioned below said first fabric layer and formed by interweaving a plurality of warps with a plurality of wefts, a first ratio of a number of said plurality of warps of said first fabric layer to a number of said plurality of warps of said second fabric layer being greater than 1, a second ratio of a number of said plurality of wefts of said first fabric layer to a number of said plurality of wefts of said second fabric layer being greater than 1.

Fabric belt for a machine for the production of web material, particularly paper or cardboard

A fabric belt for producing a web material, the fabric belt including a first layer on a web material side and a second layer on a machine side of the belt. The layers each having a basic weave connected to each other by binding threads extending in a binding thread direction. The layers having base binding threads extending both in and transverse to the binding thread direction. The binding threads form binding segments which are successive in the binding thread direction in the second layer. The binding threads are tied off on one base binding thread of the second layer extending transversely to the binding thread direction. The binding segments formed in the second layer are arranged in a binding pattern repeat extended in and transverse to the binding thread direction along a binding segment diagonal progressing obliquely to the binding thread direction and transverse to the binding thread direction.

Fabric belt for a machine for producing web material, in particular paper or cardboard

The invention relates to a fabric belt for a machine for the production of web material, particularly paper or cardboard, including a first fabric layer providing a web material contact side and formed by way of the interweaving of warps with wefts, and a second fabric layer positioned below the first fabric layer and formed by way of the interweaving of warps with wefts, wherein the ratio of the number of warps of the first fabric layer to the number of warps of the second fabric layer is greater than 1.

Paper machine clothing that includes interwoven warp threads and weft threads forming a weaving pattern composed of repeat units having at least 26 warp threads. The weaving pattern, one of on its own or in combination, is formed by at least one of: at least one basic textile weave, at least one derivative of a basic textile weave, and at least one extension of a basic textile weave.

Paper machine clothing

A forming fabric for a machine for the production of web material, especially paper or cardboard, comprises a first fabric layer on the web material side and a second machine-side fabric layer, whereby the first fabric layer and the second fabric layer are interconnected with each other by binder threads and whereby the second fabric layer is woven in an irregular satin weave.

Forming fabric for a machine for the production of web material, especially paper or cardboard

A paper machine mesh, in particular a forming mesh, includes an upper and a lower fabric layer and binder threads to join the two fabric layers, the lower fabric layer having a weaving pattern which is repeated in lower repeats. Within the lower repeat, each binder thread of each pair with lower longitudinal threads forms at least one tie segment and each tie segment is formed in that the respective binder thread of the pair continually crosses two or more directly consecutive lower longitudinal threads on the outer side of the lower fabric layer, and the tie segments of each binder thread pair are arranged relative to the lower transverse threads flanking said segments.

Forming mesh

A paper machine mesh, in particular a forming mesh including: an upper fabric layer including upper transverse threads, the outer side of which forms a paper side of the paper machine mesh; a lower fabric layer including lower transverse threads, the outer side of which forms a machine side of the paper machine mesh; and tie threads, arranged in pairs and extending transverse to the transverse threads, which connect the upper and the lower fabric layer to each other in that the tie threads of each pair are woven with upper transverse threads to form upper tie sections and with lower transverse threads to form lower tie sections, wherein each upper tie section is formed by weaving one tie thread of the pair with one or more consecutive upper transverse threads and an upper tie section of the other tie thread of the pair is arranged between two consecutive upper tie sections of the tie thread, wherein in the case of each upper tie section the tie thread crosses at least one upper transverse thread when a tie thread runs on the outer side of the upper fabric layer, and wherein in the case of each lower tie section one tie thread crosses at least one lower transverse thread when it runs on the outer side of the lower fabric layer, and with a repeat in which the weaving pattern of the paper machine mesh is repeated.
