A seat belt is woven, tubular and inflatable, and includes warp threads in an upper woven layer and warp threads in a lower woven layer, wherein the number of the warp threads in the upper woven layer is approximately 1.5 times to three times the number of the warp threads in the lower woven layer.

A method for producing tissue with the aid of a weaving loom comprising a stop bar, at least one shed and a heddle for carrying out the method. A belt strap (1) for safety belts which is to have outer surfaces of as low friction as possible so that it can run through the safety belt system with as little friction as possible. The warp threads (3), which are woven into the belt strap, have filaments (5) of at least 15 dtex, particularly 17 dtex. The warp threads (3) are, in one embodiment, untwined and tangled at certain points with compressed air, whereby the tangled points (7) can be spaced from one another by 5 to 15 cm. In another embodiment the warp threads are twined only slightly, namely with 30 to 50 twists per meter thread length.

A textile material for supplying parallel threads to a machine for manufacturing two-dimensional textile fabrics. The material is loosely woven and has a low number of withdrawable weft loops 3 per unit length. Immediately prior to entering an end-product machine weft thread 2 is withdrawn to the side, so that the remaining group 1 of threads enters the machine. The material passes over braked rollers 31,32 and a bar 35. Retainer stitches 7 are unravelled and the weft thread 2 is passed through a guide 55 onto a transport device 57.

The invention concerns an assembly of sets of tightly adjacent eye needles (12) for filling-yarn knitting machinery. One set each of eye needles (12) is anchored by injection-molding in supports (8,9) at mutually equidistant positions, the needles being mutually parallel by their main planes. Two supports (8,9) each with a set of eye needles (12) form one segment of eye needles. The heads (22) of the eye needles (12) of the first set (24) of needles alternatingly enter centrally between every two heads of the eye needles of the second set (25) of needles. The two sets of needles are fixed within the segments and are oblique in such a manner that a conceptual plane from one of the sets (24) of needles (plane (5) of the set) extending along the eye needles and through the heads of this set of needles intersects the plane (5') of the set of the other needle-set (25) in the region of the heads. As a result, very fine ribbons or tapes may be manufactured that require minute separations between the heads of the eye needles, while eye needles having comparatively thick stems nevertheless can be used and these stems furthermore can be anchored by injection-molding them in each support. A segment of eye needles also can be formed by more than two mutually oblique sets (24,26,26) of needles.
