The invention relates to methods and arrangements for handling handover-related parameters. A radio base station of a mobile communications network is arranged to serve at least a first cell, and to make handover decisions based on handover-related parameters. The radio base station comprises means for receiving handover related feedback from a radio base station serving a second cell after handover of a UE from said first cell to said second cell; means for using the handover related feedback received from the base station serving said second cell to adjust the handover-related parameters; and further by means for sending handover related feedback to a radio base station serving a second or another cell after handover of a UE to said first cell from said second or another cell.

Method and arrangement for handling handover related parameters in a mobile communications network

A method in a base station () for enabling the base station () to identify a neighboring base station () is provided. A request is being sent () to a user equipment (), commanding it to send an identification requesting message to the neighboring base station (). In response to reception of the sent identification requesting message, a neighboring base station identifier that is associated with and identifies the neighboring base station (), is received (). Thereby the base station () is enabled to identify the neighboring base station (). By receipt of the neighboring base station identifier, the base station becomes aware of and is enabled to contact, or connect with, the neighboring base station more directly, without the need of doing it through the user equipment. This can be done at some later point in time, for example in order to request the neighboring base station to perform handover measurements with regard to the same or another user equipment.

Methods and arrangements for identifying a neighbouring base station

A method in a radio network node is disclosed for handling positioning data in a radio communications network, which radio network node serves a user equipment in a cell. The radio network node obtains positioning data from the user equipment, which positioning data is associated with a positioning measurement for positioning the user equipment. The radio network node associates the obtained positioning data with an on-going trace session of the user equipment. The radio network node then sends a trace record to a network management node, which trace record includes information associated with the positioning data.

Methods, arrangement and network nodes for supporting inter-cell coordination of scheduling of radio resources subjected to inter cell interference. The methods involve identifying one or more radio resources which are subjected to inter-cell interference between a first cell and a second cell. The methods further involve deriving a respective service value related to service that could be provided in the respective first and second cell by use of the one or more radio resources. A random access preamble format is set for each cell and comprises a random access sequence length, T, and a random access preamble cyclic prefix length, T. First, the random access sequence length, Tis selected and then the random access preamble cyclic prefix length, T CP is selected. Based on the selected random access sequence length, T SEQ and random access preamble cyclic prefix length, T, which random access preamble format to use in said cell is selected.

The invention relates to a method for performance reporting in a wireless network, wherein at least one terminal is associated to a terminal report server by means of information in the terminal. Prior to initiating the performance report, information on operator identity is retrieved. The operator identity is combined with information identifying the associated terminal report server to compile a fully qualified domain name. Updating of neighbor cell information in a radio communications system

A telecommunications system comprises a serving radio base station and a candidate radio base station which are different with respect to at least one of frequency and radio access technology. The serving radio base station comprises a radio base station to which a wireless mobile station provides measurement reports. A method comprises the serving radio base station allowing the mobile station to obtain information broadcasted by the candidate radio base station. The information is either information for locating Cell Global Identity (CGI) of the candidate radio base station or the Cell Global Identity (CGI) itself of the radio base station. The mobile station obtains the information from the candidate radio base station during at least one reading gap. The reading gap is a time period in which the mobile station does not receive information from the serving radio base station.
