The present disclosure relates to a method performed by a vehicle identification system () for addressing and identifying vehicles adapted for receipt of a delivered service while being unattended. The vehicle identification system determines (), by means of a determining unit (), a position () of one or more vehicles of a group of vehicles () awaiting the delivered service. The vehicle identification system furthermore determines (), by means of the determining unit, a position () of a service provider () adapted to carry out the delivered service. Additionally, the vehicle identification system receives (), by means of a receiving unit (), an input () from the service provider indicating an interest in nearby vehicles, out of the group of vehicles, which are in vicinity of the service provider. Furthermore, the vehicle identification system determines (), by means of the determining unit, at least a first nearby vehicle (), out of the group of vehicles, to be in vicinity of the service provider, based on considering a determined position () of the first nearby vehicle in view of the position of the service provider. Method and system for addressing and identifying vehicles adapted for receipt of a delivered service while being unattended

The present disclosure relates to a method for enabling a temporary user to gain temporary access to a locked space of a vehicle. The vehicle is configured to communicate with an intermediate system adapted to remotely control functionality of the vehicle. The intermediate system is configured to receive, from a user device associated with the temporary user, a request message to open a remotely operable lock of the locked space and further configured to, based on the request message, transmit an unlock message to the vehicle to open the lock. The request message from the user device includes access parameters to enable the lock to be unlocked, the access parameters received by the user device from a permission message transmitted by an owner device directly or indirectly to the user device.

Methods and systems for enabling a temporary user to gain temporary access to a locked space of a vehicle

A method performed by an information suppressing system for avoiding distracting an occupant of a vehicle with superfluous information via a medium associated with the vehicle is provided. The medium is adapted to present at least a first piece of information associated with at least a first entity located in a current vicinity of the vehicle. The system determines status data comprising one or more status data parameters reflecting current conditions, and further determines the at least first piece of information to be currently superfluous, based on comparing at least a first status data parameter of the status data with predetermined suppression criteria. Moreover, the system suppresses the at least first piece of information, wherein at least a portion of the at least first piece of information is prevented from being presented via the medium. An information suppressing system in accordance with the foregoing is also provided.

Method and system for avoiding distracting a vehicle occupant

The present disclosure relates to a method performed by a road segment determining system for identifying beforehand a situation with a potentially in-alert driver of a vehicle. The road segment determining system determines a position of the vehicle, and further determines pre-stored road characteristics of a road segment assumed or known to be ahead of the vehicle. Moreover, the road segment determining system determines the road segment to be monotonous based on comparing at least a first road parameter of the pre-stored road characteristics with predetermined monotonous road criteria. The disclosure also relates to a road segment determining system in accordance with the foregoing, a vehicle comprising at least a portion of the road segment determining system, and a user device comprising at least a portion of the road segment determining system.

Method and system for identifying a situation with a potentially in-alert driver

A method performed by a floor determining device of a vehicle is provided for determining on which floor of a parking area the vehicle is positioned. The floor determining unit determines by means of a match determining unit that the vehicle at a current position has driven a travelled distance from a previous position of the vehicle, which horizontally coincides with the current position. The floor determining device determines by means of a floor change determining unit that the current position is situated on a higher floor above a previous floor of the previous position if the vehicle is determined to have driven the travelled distance more upwards than downwards from the previous position to the current position, and that the current position is situated on a lower floor beneath the previous floor if the vehicle is determined to have driven the travelled distance more downwards than upwards.
