A motor assembly, comprising a brushless DC motor with control electronics which comprises at least two magnetic field sensors adapted to measure magnetic flux from magnetic poles on a rotor in the brushless DC motor. The magnetic field sensors are adapted to determine an angular position of the rotor, with the purpose of controlling the current to the brushless DC motor based on the determined angular position. The brushless DC motor is an external rotor motor comprising an internal stator, and an external rotor having a periphery and an inside, which exhibits a plurality of permanent magnets disposed at regular intervals along the inside to provide the magnetic poles. The magnetic field sensors are disposed at a distance from each other in the proximity of the periphery to measure the magnetic flux leaking radially through the external rotor from the permanent magnets on the inside.

The present invention relates to a model based positioning system that includes a positioning device having at least one transmitter configured to be in a tracking environment, e.g. inserted into a body, a receiver having a plurality of receiver elements arranged outside the tracking environment, a control unit configured to measure amplitude and/or phase information of a signal transmitted from the at least one transmitter and received at each receiving element, and a memory unit for storing a model for each receiving element. The control unit is also configured to estimate the position P of the positioning device by comparing the model for each receiving element with the measured received signal for each receiving element.

Model based positioning system

The present invention relates to an electrode configured to be fixable relative to a target area within a body, the electrode comprises: a positioning device for tracking variations of a position of the electrode relative to a radiation source, a dose measuring unit to detect administered dose in the target area from the radiation source, and an identification unit. The identification unit and the dose measuring unit are configured to be connectable to an externally arranged control unit via a first pair of electrical connections. The identification unit comprises: an electronic identification tag, and a switch configured to alternate between a first mode in which administered dose from the radiation source may be detected in the dose measuring unit, and a second mode in which the identification tag may be read by the externally arranged control unit.
