A grip strengthening device having a finger portion for enhancing the grip by means of at least one artificial tendon arranged along at least one finger portion, wherein the finger portion comprises material along both sides and a tip, and possible along a dorsal side, the at least one artificial tendon is attached along both sides so that the artificial tendon may move, wherein the artificial tendon runs closer to a ventral side than the dorsal side of the finger portion, at least at positions corresponding to joints of a wearer's finger, the finger portion will transfer a force to provide a movement of the finger when the artificial tendon is retracted, wherein the artificial tendon runs in a detour towards or to a position in the middle between the dorsal and ventral side or closer to the dorsal side at a proximal portion of the finger portion.

Grip strenthening support device

Provided is a technique for attaching an artificial tendon to a support device having a supporting material as well as a product formed by the technique. The artificial tendon is provided for flexing or extending a joint of a body, when applied at the joint of the body, by way of pulling the artificial tendon along its lengthwise direction. The artificial tendon is attached to the support device by stitching across the tendon with a thread on the supporting material of the support device, which forms a tunnel for the artificial tendon between the supporting material and the stitching. The artificial tendon is able to travel in the tunnel. The tunnel formed by this technique is positioned on the surface of the supporting material of the support device.

Method of attaching an artificial tendon and a product

Control system () for a strengthening glove () with fingers (-), comprising a force detecting sensor means () for detecting, at different measurement locations (-) on the palm side () of said glove fingers, a respective force between a finger (-) and a contact surface, further arranged to impart a force to respective glove fingers, bending them towards a gripping position, further arranged to read measurement values from the strengthening feedback loop based upon the measurement values. The invention is characterised in that a predetermined pattern is detected, comprising certain measurement values, in that, when the said pattern is not detected and the actuating means are controlled according to a first program, and further when the said pattern is detected, they are controlled according to a second program, which first and second programs are different.

Control system for a strengthening glove

A cable connector comprising a housing comprising a first and second housing parts adapted to be connected into a closed state and be separated into an open state. The first housing part holds a first core wire of the first cable and a first joining part attached to an end of the first core wire and adapted to move in a first and second direction along a first sliding path. The second housing part holding a second core wire or string of the second cable and a second joining part attached to an end of the second core wire or string and adapted to move in a first and second direction along a second sliding path. First and second engagement surfaces of first and second joining parts, abut and form a contact surface for transmitting force along the first and second sliding paths between the first and second joining parts.

Cable connector

A finger glove for use in gripping movements with one or more fingers of a human hand enclosed in the glove. The glove includes glove fingers and a palm. At least one glove finger is adapted to include on each side an artificial tendon that extends along an inside of the glove. A yoke is fitted in a tip of the at least one glove finger and intended to surround a tip of an enclosed finger. At each side of the glove finger artificial tendons are connected to the yoke. A system including the finger glove having a force detecting sensor is situated on the inside of the at least one glove finger and is adapted to detect a force between a finger enclosed in the glove finger and a contact surface applied to the finger. The artificial tendons for a glove finger are connected to at least one actuator and a control unit adapted to cause the at least one actuator to exert a pulling force on the artificial tendons of the glove finger based on a force detected in the force detecting sensor, whereby the finger enclosed in the glove finger is caused to bend.
