A gyratory crusher spider bushing positions radially intermediate thereof a topshell spider and a crusher main shaft configured for gyroscopic precession within a crusher. The bushing includes a cylindrical main body having an inside surface and an outside surface centered around a longitudinal axis. A collar is arranged in connection to the top end of the bushing. The inside surface includes a fulcrum point having the smallest diameter of the bushing. An angle (α) defines the inside surface inclination above/below the fulcrum point in relation to the longitudinal axis. An inside length of the body is defined from the fulcrum point to the top end of the collar. A plurality of longitudinal cutouts are located at the inside of the body and are partly recessed in the inside surface. The cutouts have a length of which the lowermost part is located at or above the region of the fulcrum point.

A gyratory crusher main shaft sleeve for friction fitting over an uppermost tapered end of a crusher main shaft includes an elongate axial wall extending from an upper end to a lower end and having external and internal facing surfaces aligned transverse so as to taper inwardly towards a central axis. The tapering is defined by a sleeve tapering angle formed between the internal facing surface and an imaginary axis parallel to the central axis. The internal surface of the sleeve has a section in the axial direction with an upper end and a lower end. The sleeve section, from the upper end to the lower end, has a section tapering angle formed between the internal surface and the imaginary axis. The section tapering angle is different from the sleeve angle defining the tapering of the sleeve from the sleeve upper end to the section upper end.

A drive mechanism for an inertia cone crusher having a drive transmission to rotate an unbalanced mass body within the crusher and to cause a crusher head to rotate about a gyration axis at a tilt angle formed by an axis of the crusher head relative to the gyration axis. A torque reaction coupling is positioned in the drive transmission between the mass body and a drive input component and is elastically displaceable and/or deformable. In particular, the torque reaction coupling is configured to: i) transmit a torque from the drive input to the mass body and ii) to dynamically displace and/or deform elastically in response to a change in the torque resultant from a change in the tilt angle of the crusher head so as to dissipate the change in the torque to the drive transmission.

Drive mechanism for an inertia cone crusher

A gyratory crusher bearing arranged for carrying a crushing head of a gyratory crusher having an inner crushing shell supported by the crushing head, and an outer crushing shell supported on a crusher frame. The gyratory crusher bearing includes a lubricant supply channel and a lubricant drainage channel. At least one of the lubricant supply channel and the lubricant drainage channel is arranged for housing a combined mounting and lubricant passage bolt holding the gyratory crusher bearing to a bearing support arranged on the crusher frame of the gyratory crusher.

A cone crusher has an outer crushing shell and an inner crushing shell with a crushing gap formed therebetween. The outer crushing shell is supported on an upper frame member in threaded engagement with a lower frame member. The threaded engagement is configured for adjusting the vertical position of the outer crushing shell relative to the lower frame member so as to permit adjustment of the width of the crushing gap. The upper frame member is provided with a circumferential gear ring for turning the upper frame member in the threaded engagement. The gear ring is connected to the upper frame member in a rotationally locked and vertically slidable manner The cone crusher includes a clamping arrangement for vertically clamping the gear ring between an upper clamping member and a lower clamping member.

A gyratory crusher includes a crushing head, which is arranged rotatably on a substantially vertical shaft and on which a first crushing shell is mounted, and a frame, on which a second crushing shell is mounted, which second crushing shell, together with the first crushing shell, delimits a crushing gap. A supporting piston is arranged inside a cavity of the shaft, which supporting piston is displaceable in the vertical direction in order to adjust the width of the crushing gap. An eccentric is, by means of at least one radial bearing, arranged rotatably about the shaft. The gyratory crusher has an oil line, arranged in the cavity and extending through a piston plate included in the supporting piston, for supplying lubricating oil to a lubricating oil chamber configured at least partially in the cavity above the piston plate, the lubricating oil chamber being connected to the radial bearing by a duct arranged in the shaft.

A gyratory crusher has a crushing head on which a first crushing shell is mounted, a frame on which a second crushing shell is mounted, and a driving device, which is arranged with a rotating eccentric to cause the crushing head to execute a gyratory movement for crushing of material. The crushing head is connected to the frame of a rotation-restricting arrangement, which comprises a beater in a tank. Spinning of the crushing head is restricted by the beater being braked, during operation of the crusher, by a liquid contained in the tank.

An anti-spin assembly is arranged in a gyratory crusher. The anti-spin assembly includes an expandable braking receptacle, which is adapted to be expanded by way of a pressure medium. The braking receptacle is arranged in a space between a first surface formed on a part which rotates with the crushing head and a second surface formed on a non-rotary part which is connected to the frame bottom part. The braking receptacle is arranged, when expanding, to engage both the first and the second surface, thereby braking the rotation of the crushing head.

Anti-spin assembly

A crusher system includes a gyratory crusher, which has a crushing head, on which a first crushing shell is mounted; a frame, on which a second crushing shell is mounted; and a driving device, which is arranged to cause, by means of a rotating eccentric, the crushing head to execute a gyratory movement for crushing material. The crusher system includes a device for generating a signal that indicates the current tendency of the crushing head to spin; a device arranged to establish, based on the signal, a maximum allowable rotational speed for the eccentric; and a device arranged to adapt the rotational speed of the eccentric to a rotational speed that is lower than the maximum allowable rotational speed.
