A clothing, in particular for use in a press section of a machine for manufacturing a fibrous web, such as a paper, cardboard, or tissue web, includes a base structure and at least one staple-fiber layer which is disposed on the base structure and is connected thereto. The clothing is assembled from a plurality of strips which are provided in the form of planar formations having a proportion of the base structure and a proportion of the at least one staple-fiber layer. Two mutually opposite edges of the strips have seam loops which are each connected to seam loops of the edges of adjacent strips. The edges having the seam loops are oriented in a cross-machine direction of the clothing. A method for manufacturing a clothing is also provided.

Clothing and method for the production thereof

A machine for producing fiber-containing web material, in particular tissue paper, includes a permeable dewatering belt for transporting fiber-containing source material used for producing web material from a forming section to a suction/pressing section, and a press belt assembly assigned to the suction/pressing section. The source material is received in the suction/pressing section between the press belt assembly and the dewatering belt and the press belt assembly presses the source material and the dewatering belt against a suction assembly of the suction/pressing section. The press belt assembly has a single press belt providing a source material contact surface.

Machine for producing fiber-containing web material, in particular tissue paper

A combination of a press felt with a pressure and/or suction roll covering for a papermaking machine, including a porous press felt with a carrier structure. The pressure or suction roll covering having a circumferential groove surface structure having a groove width in the range of 0.5 mm to 1.5 mm, a distance between grooves in the range of 1.5 to 2.5 mm and a groove depth in the range of 1.5 mm to 4 mm. A percentage of an open surface relative to an overall surface of the pressure roll covering is in a range of 20% to 50%. The suction roll covering additionally having an arrangement of holes with a plurality of suction holes completely penetrating through the suction roll covering, whereby a percentage of an open surface in relation to an overall surface of the suction roll covering is in a range of 30% to 50%.

Combination of a press felt with a pressure roll covering and/or suction roll covering for a paper machine

Seam fabric for a machine for producing web material, in particular paper or paperboard, includes a basic structure constructed as seam cloth with weft threads running in a belt longitudinal direction and warp threads running in a belt transverse direction. At the belt longitudinal ends the weft threads form seam loops for joining the belt longitudinal ends. At least two weft thread layers are formed in the seam cloth, and weft thread pairs include respectively one weft thread of a first of the weft thread layers and one weft thread of a second of the weft thread layers. Two different types of groups of weft thread pairs are formed. In a first type of groups of weft thread pairs one respective weft thread of the first of the weft thread layers lies offset in a first direction in relation to the pair-wise assigned weft thread of the second of the weft thread layers. In the second type of groups of weft thread pairs one respective weft thread of the first of the weft thread layers lies offset in a second direction inverse to the first direction in relation to the pair-wise assigned weft thread of the second of the weft thread layers.
