The application relates to beam management for a client device in a power saving state. When the client device is in the power saving state, the client device monitors serving beams of a network access node based on a serving beam configuration. The serving beam configuration indicated the serving beams to be monitored by the client device in the power saving state. If the client device detects a beam failure during the serving beam monitoring in the power saving state, the client device performs a beam reconfiguration procedure. The beam reconfiguration procedure informs the network access node about the change in serving beam status and allows the network access node to update the serving beam configuration.

Client device, network access node and methods for beam management in power saving state

This application provides a client device, a method, and a computer program. The client device obtains a first parameter associated with a radio link failure timer. The first parameter indicates a first time period during which the radio link failure timer is reset and thereafter started. The client device further obtains a second parameter associated with the radio link failure timer. The second parameter indicates a second time period during which the radio link failure timer is started and thereafter reset. Based on the first parameter and the second parameter, the client device determines a value of the radio link failure timer.

Embodiments of the disclosure relate to a coordinator network node and one or more network access nodes interworking in a wireless communication system. The coordinator network node determines a joint resource allocation area (&#x3a9;) based on measurement messages from network access nodes. The determined joint resource allocation area (&#x3a9;) is thereafter transmitted to the network access nodes. Thereby, the coordinator network node enables to determine the portion of the first or the second service areas that are free from interference from neighbouring network access nodes where each network access node can perform resource allocations independently. A first network access node for a wireless communication system obtains a set of first radio service information (RSI) for a set of first position information in a service area. Each first RSI of the set of first RSI comprises a first RSI estimate, a first estimate type indicating how the first RSI estimate was estimated, and a first radio service type defining the first RSI estimate. The method comprises receiving a data packet and determining if it is a re- or new transmission; and, when it is a retransmission: combining the received data packet with oldest unsuccessfully decoded data packet stored in a second memory, and decoding the combined data packet; when it is a new transmission: decoding the received data packet; checking if the decoding is successful; deleting the oldest stored data packet in the first memory; storing the decoded data packet in the first memory when the decoding is successful or storing the decoded data packet in the second memory when the decoding is not successful; and transmitting feed-back information to the transmitter.
