The present disclosure relates to a control arrangement () for a vehicle (), specifically adapted for use and creation of map data for improved operation of the vehicle (). The present disclosure also relates to a corresponding method and computer program product.

The method comprises predicting, by a processor device, expected travelling times for travelling from a starting point to a first destination point and from an auxiliary point to a second destination point based on collected drive time statistical data and collected additional drive time statistical data; and controlling, by the processor device, the regeneration event based on the predicted expected travelling times.

Method to control a powertrain in a vehicle

A method is provided for controlling a drivetrain of a vehicle, wherein the drivetrain comprises a multi-clutch transmission. The gear shift of the multi-clutch transmission is adapted to be performed either by power cut shift or by power shift dependent on predetermined vehicle shift conditions. The method includes detecting at least one of a plurality of indications of slippery road conditions and setting a slip risk factor, wherein the slip risk factor is dependent on the indication of slippery road conditions. If the slip risk factor is above a first predetermined threshold value the method further comprises controlling the multi-clutch transmission such that an upcoming gear shift is performed as a power-shift independently of if upcoming shift was determined to be performed as a power-cut shift or as a power shift.

Method for controlling a drivetrain of a vehicle comprising a multi-clutch transmission

A method is provided for adapting the starting gear of an automated manual transmission in a heavy vehicle, where a pre-selected starting gear is selected by a transmission control unit depending on vehicle parameters of the heavy vehicle, where the starting gear is lowered from the pre-selected starting gear depending on a movement behavior of a vehicle in front of the heavy vehicle. The pre-selected starting gear can be adapted to the traffic in front of the vehicle, which makes it possible to avoid unnecessary gear changes and which allows for a smooth starting cycle of the vehicle.

A method is provided to control an engine braking operation of a vehicle provided with a dual clutch transmission. The dual clutch transmission is adapted to be set into different gear-combinations, each including an active gear selection through which torque can be transmitted, and a passive gear selection through which no torque can be transmitted. In a pre-set number of gear-combinations, the first input shaft and the main shaft have a synchronised rotation. A cruise control arrangement for a vehicle includes a cruise control speed function, a cruise control brake function and at least one selectable economy level, having a set maximum speed value corresponding to a maximum allowed vehicle speed, a set brake speed value corresponding to a brake cruise speed and a set cruise speed value corresponding to a cruise speed, where a temporary brake speed value replaces the set brake speed value as the actually used brake speed value, and where the temporary brake speed value is dependent on the selected economy level.
