The present invention provides a tape guide for guiding a component tape from a tape reel to a picking position of a component mounting machine. The tape guide comprises a support structure arranged for guiding the component tape from an upstream end portion of the tape guide to a downstream end portion of the tape guide. The tape guide further comprised a hook portion arranged at the downstream end portion and configured to grip a flange of said tape reel when the tape guide and tape reel are removed from said component mounting machine. The present invention further provides a unit comprising a tape guide, a tape reel and component tape as well as component mounting machine.

Tape guide for guiding a component tape

A holder arrangement for releasably holding a plurality of component feeders, configured to feed a component tape towards a picking position of a component mounting machine, is disclosed. The arrangement comprises a first mechanical interface configured to releasably attach the plurality of component feeders to the holder arrangement, and a second mechanical interface configured to releasably attach the holder arrangement to a component tape magazine configured to be loaded into the component mounting machine, such that the component feeders are positioned to guide the component tape to the picking position. Furthermore, a method for handling at least one component feeder, is disclosed.

Holder arrangement

An ejector for jetting a viscous medium onto a substrate is disclosed. The ejector comprises a jetting chamber adapted to accommodate the viscous medium, a nozzle communicatively connected to the chamber, and an impacting device adapted to impact a volume of the viscous medium in the chamber such that viscous medium is jetted through the nozzle towards the substrate. The ejector may further comprise a rotating mechanism adapted to rotate the impacting device around a length axis of the impacting device such that shearing is induced in the viscous medium to be jetted. A corresponding system and method is also disclosed.

Method and apparatus for jetting of viscous medium using impacting device

An ejector for jetting droplets of viscous media onto a substrate is disclosed. The ejector comprises a jetting nozzle having a nozzle space and a nozzle outlet, and an impacting device for impacting a volume of the viscous medium in the nozzle space such that droplets of viscous medium is jetted from the nozzle space through the nozzle outlet towards the substrate. The ejector also comprise a sensor arrangement arranged after the jetting nozzle in the jetting direction, wherein the sensor arrangement is adapted to detect a jetted droplet of viscous medium passing thereby.

Method and device for jetting droplets

The invention relates to a separation disc and a milk separator comprising a rotor, which separation disc together with other separation discs forms a stack of separation discs rotatable together with the rotor. The separation disc comprises a truncated substantially conical portion and an annular flange element connected to the conical portion at the smallest radius and extends therefrom radially inwards substantially perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The flange element has a radial extent corresponding to at least 10% of the radial extent of the conical portion. The inner radial edge of the flange element includes recesses distributed along the edge and adapted to protrusions on a column connected to the rotor, extending coaxially through the separation discs. The recesses are substantially filled by the protrusions. The radial extent of the recesses corresponds to at least 20% of the radial extent of the flange element.

Separation disc and separator

A tape guide for guiding a carrier tape in a component mounting machine, a tape magazine for receiving the tape guide, and a system including the tape guide and the tape magazine. The carrier tape carries components that are positioned in sequence on the carrier tape and are covered by a cover tape. The tape guide includes an exposure mechanism for exposing the components at a picking position, wherein the exposure mechanism includes a separator for separating and lifting a lateral portion of the cover from the carrier tape, leaving the remaining portion of the cover at least partially attached to the carrier tape, and for bringing the lifted portion of the cover aside. The tape guide also includes a lock for enabling ready and quick attachment and detachment of the tape guide to and from the component mounting machine, a guiding for guiding the carrier tape towards a picking position, and a retainer for preventing accidental displacement of the carrier tape along the tape guide.

Tape guide and magazine at a component machine

System for handling components in connection with circuit board assembly in a component mounting machine. The system comprises a number of component tapes provided on component tape reels, and a number of tape guides arranged for receiving component tapes of a given component tape width and for bringing the component tape in position for feeding of the component tape and for picking components from the component tape in the component mounting machine. The tape guides have a similar geometrical outline and basic configuration, and each tape guide comprises a component exposure device for exposing a component at a picking position by removing the portion of the cover tape covering the component. The tape guides are divided into sub-sets of tape guides, wherein the tape guides of each individual sub-set have component exposure devices of the same design, which design is dependent on the configurations of the component tapes intended for that sub-set of tape guides. Each tape guide also comprises visual marking for indicating the sub-set to which the tape guide belongs.
