An assembly for a hybrid motor vehicle, in particular a partially electrified hybrid motor vehicle, having a vehicle battery and a vehicle seat comprising a seat surface. The vehicle seat is connected or connectable to a vehicle floor of the hybrid motor vehicle by means of a substructure having at least two seat rails. The vehicle battery is arranged or arrangeable beneath the vehicle seat and above the vehicle floor. The vehicle battery is held on the vehicle seat by means of a suspension means attached to the top side, or in an upper region, of the vehicle battery.

A vehicle mount may comprise a member attach to a frame of a vehicle. Another mount member may comprise limbs. A space between limbs may receive an arm attachable to a component of the vehicle. The second member may attach to the first member such that the space between the first and second limbs forms an opening for receipt of the arm.

A high voltage battery has at least two battery modules that each have a module housing and an electrical connection element to electrically connect the battery modules. A battery module has a prestressing element which is arranged within the respective module housing and is connected to the respective electrical connection element. The electrical connection element connected to the prestressing element is arranged on the battery module such that it is movable between a connection position, in which the electrical connection element is guided through a through-hole in the module housing, and a protective position, in which the electrical connection element is arranged completely within the module housing. The prestressing element prestresses the electrical connection element in a direction of the protective position. The connection element in the connection position is connected to another battery module via at least one connecting unit. The connecting unit is configured such that the connection produced by the connecting unit can be released in a destruction-free manner or with destruction of the connecting unit by a movement of the mutually electrically connected battery modules relative to one another in a movement direction which extends transversely to a prestressing direction in which the connection element is prestressed by the prestressing element.

High voltage battery for a motor vehicle

An assembly for a hybrid motor vehicle, in particular a partially electrified hybrid motor vehicle, includes a vehicle battery and a vehicle seat having a seat surface. The vehicle seat is connected or capable of connection to a vehicle floor of the hybrid motor vehicle by means of a seat bottom construction of the seat surface. In addition, the vehicle battery is furthermore arranged or capable of arrangement underneath the vehicle seat and above the vehicle floor and a first stiffened cross member, arranged in front of the vehicle battery in the direction of travel, and a second stiffened cross member, arranged behind the vehicle battery in the direction of travel, are provided. The vehicle battery is moreover connected to the first cross member by means of a first fixing arrangement and/or to the second cross member by means of a second fixing arrangement.

This disclosure relates to a battery arrangement for an electrified vehicle. Among other things, the battery arrangement includes first and second battery modules, each of which includes a battery module housing. Adjacent surfaces of these battery module housings are interlocked such that the first and second battery modules are configured to slide relative to one another in a transverse direction of the electrified vehicle. Accordingly, this disclosure increases safety while saving space and without requiring undue reinforcements of the chassis structure, which would increase the weight of the vehicle and reduce the energy efficiency the vehicle. The present disclosure relates to an electrified vehicle with a battery protection device and a corresponding method. An example electrified vehicle includes a battery protection device with a first housing portion and a second housing portion. The first and second housing portions are each made of a sandwich structure and exhibit U-shaped profiles. The U-shaped profiles of the first and second housing portions face one another to provide an internal cavity.

This disclosure relates to safety plugs for a battery of an electrified vehicle. An example battery includes a first battery module adjacent a second battery module, with each battery module having a respective housing. Further, the first battery module includes a first electrical contact and the second battery module includes a second electrical contact configured to electrically connect to the first electrical contact in a normal operating condition. The first and second electrical contacts are biased away from one another in a first direction, and the first and second electrical contacts are held together by a positive locking arrangement in the normal operating condition. Additionally, the first and second electrical contacts are configured to move out of contact with one another upon relative movement of the first and second battery modules in a second direction transverse to the first direction.

A pedestrian protection apparatus for a motor vehicle front end has a leg-contacting segment which, in a pre-impact position, is arranged completely above an approach plane of the vehicle (which is defined by way of a front approach angle of the motor vehicle), and can be adjusted into a post-impact position by means of a force deflecting apparatus by way of at least proportionally vertical deflection of an impact force which acts along the longitudinal direction. A chassis-subframe is attached to a vehicle body and is connected via a plurality of fasteners to high load-bearing body parts. The chassis subframe is connected to the load-bearing body parts by the fasteners indirectly via a sacrificial plate. From a specific relative force acting substantially in the vehicle longitudinal direction between the chassis subframe and the sacrificial plate, the fasteners are pulled out of said sacrificial plate, immediately in the case of a displacement movement of the chassis subframe occurring to the rear, viewed in the vehicle longitudinal direction. The fasteners are arranged by the sacrificial plate relative to the load-bearing body parts such that, after being pulled out, the fasteners are able to move freely to the rear in the vehicle longitudinal direction, without interacting with the, or another of the, load-bearing body parts.

Bodywork arrangement comprising longitudinal members and cross-members that are connected at node points to other lateral structural elements to form part of a passenger compartment and part of a vehicle front end. Longitudinal members are provided at the lower side of the passenger compartment. Front-end longitudinal members are arranged on the vehicle front end. A front region of the passenger compartment has a floor cross-member, a splashboard cross-member, an armature cross-member and laterally arranged A-column elements. The floor cross-member together with the splashboard cross-member and two lateral structural elements form a lower trapezoidal structure. The splashboard cross-member together with the armature cross-member () and two lateral structural elements forms an upper trapezoidal structure. The space between the upper trapezoidal structure and the lower trapezoidal structure defines the foot space of the passenger compartment.

Bodywork arrangement for a front end and a passenger compartment of a vehicle

A front module for a motor vehicle includes two longitudinal members arranged one on either side, a bumper sitting in front of the two longitudinal members and connected to front ends of the longitudinal members with the interconnection of a respective deformation element, and a radiator frame arranged between the longitudinal members and supporting the cooling assembly. In a collision, the bumper, after the deformation of the deformation element, comes to bear against the radiator frame, wherein the radiator frame can then be displaced for a limited distance to the rear in the direction of the passenger compartment. After displacement or deformation of the radiator frame, the bumper () comes to bear against at least one point of the cooling assembly () in order to displace the latter to the rear in the direction of the passenger compartment.
